While it may sound pretty cheap to pay SGD130 for a 12-course Omakase experience that included a bottle of sake for two, I was quite disappointed to have experienced quite easily the worst Omakase meal I've been to. It was our first time trying out this food deal from Kris+ App , and we were both excited to see what Beppu Menken Restaurant offered to us. We didn’t expect much due to the heavily discounted price for the Omakase dinner. While I had no qualms about the quality of the food, I thought the service was quite lackluster. As I've mentioned, I did not expect much for the price, but the entire meal went for 2.5 hours which I found outrageous. Our booking was for 7.30 and the meal finished near to 10pm! Each course that was served had a long interval in between which took way too long in my opinion. Happy 8th Anniversary!     I brought Baby for a High-Tea session at the Orchard hotel recently. I love spending quality time with him, and It was my way of thanking him for showering me with his love and care all these years. Long may it continue in the coming years!! I also wanted to thank him for being very supportive towards my social media lifestyle, and he is always there for me whenever I need him.     We made use of UOB's bank promotion for a 1 for 1 deal for our celebration. This is a good deal, and it helps save money for our future, as well as for our forthcoming 1 week holiday in September!     I love the Laksa at the noodles station, as well the fried dumplings/wantons. Every September annually in Singapore, the whole island will be focusing on the night race, the  Formula One (F1) Singapore Grand Prix. Many parties with F1 theme were lined up to celebrate the special occasion. All thanks to Geraldine, we had the pleasure to attend the Exclusive Splash & Dash F1 Themed Pool Party . With the invite, we gained access to the Wet Bar and the pool at W Singapore Hotel, Sentosa Cove . We indulged ourselves with pizza and drink at the pool party. We spent our lazed afternoon at the pool party by chatting, swimming and even selfie-ing.   Our afternoon was well spent with my peers and we enjoyed the music spun by Grammy Award Winning Duo, Dirty Vegas. I end my post with random gifts received from colleagues who just came back from their holidays. Last weekends, I met up with my friends at F1 Pit Building to join in the fun at the Singapore Airlines Light Up the Night Carnival . This was my first time attending this event which brought to us by SIA, although, there was a similar event last year.     Singapore Airlines Light Up the Night Carnival was an open-to-public event to publicise the upcoming Formula One (F1) Grand Prix which will be held from 18-20 September 2015.           We took part in some of the activities at the carnival. Most racing related activities/games were pretty crowded, and we foresaw ourselves having to queue for at least 20-30 minutes, so we chose to forgo the  activities and games to save time.       Kiss92FM was there to provide a LIVE report of the carnival to their listeners, and the songs played on that day were very nice.
