A Day's trip to Segamat  for a  'Durian' Tour with my parents! Baby joined us too, and we boarded the coach at 615am on a Sunday morning. The tour was organised by Kolam Ayer RC and Boon Keng Travel , and the tour fee included all 3 meals (B reakfast/Lunch/Dinner). We spent an hour plus waiting on both customs clearance.   The coach brought us to Skudai for a brekkie fix. We had a stop at one of the famous eateries in JB, Restoran Yong Xin   Abalone Kway Teow Soup . The broth was savory light and sweet. The bowl of Kway Teow Soup consisted of a good mix of seafood and meat ingredients. If you enjoy having a breakfast consisting a dish with light clear soup with fresh ingredients, then Yong Xin's Kway Teow Soup just might be the option for you!   Our coach then headed to Segamat, and arrived around lunch time for the main focus of the tour. I got an invitation to the Longines Singapore Gold Cup 2012 which was held at the Singapore Turf Club , with thanks to William for extending it to me again. The venue was held at the usual place, Marquee .     I spent my afternoon taking photos with the props and with lovely friends.     I am glad that I was part of the celebration...      A couple of weeks ago, a group of us attended JUICE 14th Anniversary Party which was held at Zouk Singapore. The theme of the night was flash-back to the nasty nineties, and the songs that were played during the event were nostalgic.     We enjoyed taking photos with funny props, nothing beats having fun time with great friends.     William and Terence bought some lucky draw coupons for good cause, but at the same time they hope to win something from the lucky draw segment too...     Toasting up for our better future... *C...

Jas Jas and I joined the Cosmo Charity Blowout for a good cause. This charity event was happening at Evolve Salon, Liang Court. We paid SGD15 for a hair shampoo treatment by Cosmo team members and the 100% percent of the paid-out (SGD15) went to Women For Women International (WFWI), a non-profit humanitarian organisation that helps support female survivors in post-conflict countries such as Iraq and the Democratic Republic of Congo. We made our appointment to reserve our spots and each wash-and-blow session took about 15-20mins. We took photos against the photo-wall while waiting for our turns to do our hairdos. My blowout session is ended by the professional blowdry from an Evolve stylist. We received a Sunsilk goodie bag which consists 3 bottles of Shampoo, 2 bottles of Conditioner, 1 bottle of Treatment Spray and 1 jar of Treatment Mask.  I got an invitation to the 170th Anniversary Celebration ( Jubilee Stakes) from Singapore Turf Club , with thanks to William for extending it to me. The venue was held at Marquee . I made new friends during the event... Hello CK and CF!! We had fun at the Jubilee Stakes celebrating Singapore Turf Club’s 170 years of racing history and myriad achievements. We were treated to a sumptuous hi-tea buffet... The photo below was featured in Singapore Turf Club's Facebook.   We had fun doing a 7 seconds short video clip, and our motions were created into a mini-book (flip the pages in a fast mode to see our movements). I was given a '170 Years of Racing' medallion for my keep-sake...
