Dinner at Wild Coco + Kapitan

Nasi lemak fans like me enjoy the yummy nasi lemak at The Coconut Club. However in my opinion, it is kind of steep for my pockets. Recently, I found another nasi lemak eatery which is similar to The Coconut Club. Wild Coco i s located at Hamilton Road which serves up more affordably priced renditions of Malaysian-style nasi lemak . I ordered the Ayam Berempah that came with a massive chicken leg with a nicely cooked crispy brown skin. The chicken had been marinated in a mix of fragrant spices such as lemongrass and ginger. The chicken meat wasn’t very tender, as compared to their competitor. However, the well-seasoned skin saved the day! What I like most is their house-made sambal. We completed our meal with a 'wok-hei' side dish - Stir Fried Three Heavenly King. Wild Coco is definitely an affordable choice if you’re looking for Malaysian-style nasi lemak.
