For the friends who are close to me, as well as the readers who follow my blog regularly, it is easy to notice that I will never forget visiting my favourite Wanton Mee at Restoran Yit Foh whenever I visit JB, Malaysia! I have been patronising this eatery place since 2010, and it has satisfied my palate for seven years! As usual, last weekend, we drove into JB for our grocery shopping, and I visited my favorite eatery place for breakfast. My brekkie was fulfilled by a plate of yummy wanton Mee. I love the QQ noodles and the wanton tasted delicious too!   My casual OOTD - Day outing in JB   After brekkie, we drove to Aeon Tebrau City for some leisure shopping. I picked up some photo frames from Kaison. We love to frame up our travelogue photos, in order to remind us about our happy memories spent together! Apart from the photo frames, I also picked up an off-shoulder crop top from Padini. We had dinner at Restoran Uncle Pou Wok b...

Hayden's 2 + Dinner at Uncle Pou Wok

Hayden , my nephew is a big boy now, as he has just turned two on the 24th October.   Time flies really very fast, as I still remembered he was just an infant back then and is now a grown-up cheeky and handsome boy.     Henry, my brother aka Hayden's daddy threw a mini birthday celebration one week before the actual birthday at his place. He only invited some close friends and family members.   Karen, my sister-in-law aka Hayden's Mommy made these delicious cupcakes for the party.     The candies look so yummy and colorful     I took a photo with Sophia, the daughter of my brother's neighbour. I think I am always popular among young children, as I have my ways to communicate with them and get along with them too.     Local singer, Tay Kewei and her beau, Alfred Sim who recently clinched the championship of Project Superstar Season 3 were at the party. They are both frie...

Our weekend JB trip is getting more and more fruitful, as we travel more into inner area of Johor Bahru, and lately both Baby and I are into the food and shopping of Taman Mount Austin , a famous township located at Jalan Kota Tinggi in Johor Bahru. Inexpensive shopping is what I like most, but most importantly, I can't wait to explore more food gems in Taman Mount Austin… In this post, all food joints I visited are located at Taman Mount Austin ... We visited Restoran Yoong Lei Dim Sum for our lunch, and luckily, we got there around 2-ish as they close at 4pm… The big bao bears a nice shape, and the filling was pretty generous. The white dough was slight sweetened and bouncy and it complemented the minced pork filling every well. My clincher was the Char Siew Bao , as the filling is juicy and tasty. I want more next time. The Century Egg Porridge tasted pretty decent. Oh well, but I prefer the thick, dense and gruel texture of the porr...
