[California Dream] Day 03 : Day trip to Malibu + Santa Monica
Good morning! We woke up at 8am to start on our day. We did a short drive to the popular West Hollywood restaurant - Breakfast by Salt's Cure for brekkie. They made the best griddle cakes we’ve ever had in our lives. Their griddle cakes were made with oatmeal, and you could taste the nutty texture in every bite. We loved the OG Griddle Cakes that were served with Cinnamon Butter. . After our brekkie, we drove down to Malibu which took us around 2 hours to reach our destination. It is located between the Pacific Ocean and the Santa Monica Mountains. Malibu has a laid-back beach vibe, upscale living, and a small-town feel. It’s known for its shopping, dining, and stunning ocean views. El Matador in Malibu is a beautiful beach filled dramatic sea caves and massive rock formations. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous!
