Are you ready for a laid-back tea vibe session? I was so excited to have been introduced t o 三千旬   3 SEASONSTEA , which is located at Chinatown Point . This newly opened tea cafe hails from Chengdu, China , and this is their flagship store in Southeast Asia. Upon entering the premises, I made my orders at the counter and was pampered by a wide selection of drinks! They also serve delicious tarts too! I love their comfy relaxing seating area, and this cafe provides a chill zone for work, hanging out, while sipping tea and enjoying tarts. The White tea with Dried Citrus Peel is a refreshing choice, and it is also a healthier choice drink because there is no sugar in it! Happy Weekends! It may be pretty difficult to find an affordable yet delicious Cantonese-style Peking duck in Singapore. On a random weekend, I went to Kai Duck, by Kai Garden , which is located at Ngee Ann City for lunch. It serves awesome Cantonese-style Peking duck and dim sum at affordable prices. The Sliced Peking Duck with Crackers tasted pretty unique as it was a stack of layers of crackers, vegetables and sliced Peking duck skin in homemade sauce. I love the thin and crispy duck skin, as well as the special sauce which was prepared from scratch! We had Deep-fried Yam and Pumpkin, and I  love the natural sweetness from the pumpkin! The Pan-fried Carrot Cake was shaped like a pizza. It is a modern take on the classic dim sum dish. It is filled with lots of turnip, and  pan fried to a maximum crisp on the outside, yet remained soft on the inside. We had a nice lunch and the damage was pleasant too. Thanks Baby for the meal! September is Baby’s birthday month, so I booked a table for us for dinner at 'Shao' , a Teochew Seafood Restaurant which is located at the Frankel Avenue.   Ever since the first visit to ' Shao' , I have been in love with their version of the Wok Fried Hor Fun, as every piece of thick Hor Fun (flat rice noodle) was coated in fragrant oil and aroma garlic and radish bits. I like the ‘wok hei’ quality in every mouthful we took! Fried Salted Egg Yam Luffa with Scallops and Superior Broth   I added the Fried Prawn Roll as it is a MUST-ORDER item for me. It tasted delicious and it was priced at SGD8 for 4PCS.   The damage was SGD65-ish. In summary, we had a sharing plate of Hor Fun, Luffa with Scallops, Fried Prawn Roll, Fried Salted Egg Yam, and a bowl of white rice.  Nevertheless, we will be coming back again to try other dishes despite the pricey damage, as the quality of the food is top notch! On the eve of New Year’s Eve, EC arranged a drinking session at the  Grapevine Café Bar & Restaurant which is located at Guillemard Road. I like the vibes that the premises offered.   Apart from whiskey drinking, we also have pizza, satay and some bar bites such as spam fries, spring rolls, chicken nuggets, onion rings, French fries and fried chicken skin.   Thanks for company, as I enjoyed myself very much! More outings and gatherings soon please! The Covid-19 travel restrictions that have been implemented for our safety has ruined many holiday plans for last year and perhaps even for the next 1-2 years. Baby brought me to Jurong Lake Gardens’ Festival of Lights , and there were 28 large-scale lantern displays of country landmarks (‘It’s A Small World’)  as well as lucky zodiac signs.
