I attended the K BEAUTY LIVE MAKEOVER event/workshop which was held at THE FACE SHOP – Nature Collection, Plaza Singapura. This event was held in conjunction with the launch of the 2017 Holiday Special Collection, and all attendees enjoyed a 1-for-1 shopping deal on selected items. THE FACE SHOP had a collaboration with DREAMWORKS's 'Trolls' , and both Linda and I were delighted with the products from this collection, especially as they were going for the price of 1 for 1! If you are a fan of the movie, 'SHREK', then you are in for a treat, as ' SHREK THE MUSICAL', a theatrical show that is based on the same  Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation Film , is now performing 'LIVE' for the first time in Singapore at the MasterCard Theatres, Marina Bay Sands. The show will be on from the 8th June 2016 for a limited season . This live adaptation of the popular animation film Shrek brings the hilarious story of everyone’s favourite ogre to the stage. In a far away kingdom turned upside down, things get ugly when an ogre not a handsome prince shows up to rescue a feisty princess. I love the fart joke segment between Princess Fiona and Shrek as well as the tap dance by Fiona and the rats. SHREK THE MUSICAL is an amiable and well-crafted show that fills up the gap in the family friendly audience market, but unfortunately, the only grouse I had with the play overall was the lack of a memorable tune.  The ...

If you are a fan of the movie, 'Madagascar', then you will probably enjoy the musical, 'Madagascar Live!' better, as it was a theatrical show based on the blockbuster DreamWorks Animation. ‘Madagascar Live!’ provided much entertainment for families at the MasterCard Theatres.      It was a fun-filled celebration of friendship and good times shared among Alex and Marty. This show is more to a child-centric musical, and therefore I did not have any expectations when entering the theatre. To my surprise, I enjoyed myself very much, as the tunes of the songs were catchy and pleasant to the ears too.     My favorite song from the show was 'I like to Move It, Move It',  which was actually made famous in the animation movie as well. It is probably everyone's favorite too! I really do like this song as it always sets my mood to a dance mode, and I found myself singing and grooving along together with the animal...
