Goodbye 2020 ; Hello 2021

Image
For 2020, we opted out of our usual tradition to end our night on New Year's Eve by drinking at a bar. Instead, we had an afternoon tea at The Courtyard ,  The Fullerton Hotel for   our New Year’s Eve celebration. We spent quality time over our afternoon tea by sharing with each other on our plans for 2021 and of course, discussing on my upcoming birthday celebration as travelling remains restricted. As we grow older, we find that NYE is not about just having a 'Countdown', but is more akin to having a reflection on what we have achieved in 2020, and to start planning on goals for the New Year. Lastly, I end my NYE's OOTD at the hotel premises! May all my wishes come true! I wish for more social media collaboration opportunities, as well as an increment in salary from my company! On the second day of 2021, we met up with Meryl and the Lee family for a lunch gathering at  Wonderland  Savour which is located at  Wisma Atria . We took many random photos togeth...

[random] Control-T Cleansing Foam + DrGL + Latulle Cafe + Osaka Ohsho

Image
Recently, I brought Baby to Osaka Ohsho which is located at Raffles City Shopping Centre for our after-work dinner. I introduced him to my favorite Scallop Okowa Rice ! We also shared a portion of Fried Softshell Crab . In my honest opinion, Osaka Ohsho serves the best Gyoza in town! Do not miss out on their delicious Gyoza, as each piece tasted delightful. I think I will probably head down there for another meal again soon! Recently, I picked up 2 set of Necklaces from The Stage Walk's website, and the delivery was prompt! The damage for each set was SGD9.90, and they looked great as an accompanying accesory to my everyday outfits!   My lovely Mommy got me a pair of earrings, and they looked lovely. Thanks for the gift, Mom!   I think I am overly crazy about earrings. I picked up about 20 pairs of earrings for myself, and these excluded the ones which were meant to be gifts for my friends and colleagues dur...

[random] Kotobuki Coffee + Starbucks Drink Float

Image
Recently, I brought Baby on a dinner-date to Kotobuki Coffee which is located at Wisma Atria . It is one of the finest and latest dining experiences from Kotobuki Japanese Restaurant. Kotobuki serves western food which is influenced by Japanese cuisine! I love this casual Japanese-Western fusion café house!     Baby ordered a Hamburger Steak while I had the signature Tonkatsu Rice Set . We shared the Tsukune (chicken meatballs), and the damage was about SGD58. This was a treat for my Baby after a hard day's work!   I spend most of my weekends at Baby's place, and mostly Auntie Vi will cook dinner for us on Sunday. Thanks for the lovely dinner, and I love home-cooked food.   Recently, I picked up a festive gift from Starbuck s, and it was a little treat to myself! I paid SGD6.90 for a for a Fox Drink Float , and I am sure I will love using it on my next short resort trip soon!   Thanks Singapore Post for the lovely Christmas ...

[eventful Sunday] 'Bare for Hope' + Opening of HKC Plaza + the Style: Fashion Salon X Wisma Atria

Image
Her World presented the inaugural 'Bare for Hope' Road Show to raise awareness and funds for the Singapore Breast Cancer Foundation . This road show/exhibition was held at the atrium of Paragon . The giant Pink Ribbon at the event was made up of 55 pairs of breast models which were contributed by members of the public, breast cancer survivors, and celebrities such as Jade Seah and Oon Shu Ann as well . Our good friend, Meryl was one of the helper at the road show, so a group of us (Sweetie, Jasmine, Tracy and yours truly) turned up at the premises and we did it for a good cause, as every 10 photos posted on instagram taken with the 'I Bare for Hope' pledge card will grant a free mammogram treatment to the under-privileged woman.   And yes! We gave our support and we did our part to reach out for more help to help the under-privileged women who really need our help.  The first 50 people who pledged rec...
