I was delighted to be selected to attend the Guardian Exclusive 'La-Roche Posay Sun-Care' Workshop , and it was held at Guardian Plus at Takashimaya Shopping Centre . We ended our meet up with a wefie! Say Cheese…. We were given a generous goody bag which was filled with La-Roche Posay and Vichy products. Meryl came down to Suntec City to meet me for lunch on a random weekday, and I was so happy to see her again. Although we seldom see each other, we are still in each other’s heart, and that’s what friends are for! We settled our lunch at The Butcher’s Kitchen , and we went for the daily lunch set special which comes with soup and a glass of drink. The set cost us around SGD15++. I had the Teriyaki Salmon with Rice while Meryl had pasta instead. We had an enjoyable time together although my lunch time is limited. I was glad to receive a bag full of   goodies   from T-Grand International to try on and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and the taste the products offer! Before I tasted the black tea, my imagination on what the taste would be was totally different from the actual taste. I loved the medium flavor of the black tea. It was not as strong as other black teas I've tasted, but this one had a fine balanced flavor with a hint of sweetness.  T-Grand International  has an appealing package and tasted delicious too at the same time. I was invited by a friend of mine, Jacky, for a food tasting at Taipei Seoul Café,  which is located at Jalan Leban. It is a very new joint which only opened in July.   Upon reaching the café, it gave me a surreal feeling. I love the 'pastel blue' décor of the place, as it has a pretty dreamy vibe to it. The décor was pretty simple. The staffs are very helpful and efficient in their services, and the friendly lady boss, Maggie, who is a Taiwanese, shared with us on her unique food creations.      We kicked off the food tasting session with Taiwanese street snacks, Sour Plum Sweet Potato (SGD3.50) and Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken (SGD6.50) . These are pretty common Taiwanese food-fare items that are served in any Taiwanese eatery places, but I must say that I really loved the Sour Plum Sweet Potato that was served at the Taipei Seoul Café!
