[product review] Shiseido FT Hadasui Skin Water Cream Bottle + DHC Acerola Lotion

Image
In this post, I move on to a toner/lotion review as my previous post was on facial wash. Apart from picking up my beauty loots from Matsumoto Kiyoshi, I also love shopping at Don Quijote , it is a brand of discount chain stores where they offer international luxury brand items such as Cosmetics, beauty care, grooming products, clothing/cosplay accessories and even household/electrical products.   Toners are used widely to refresh the skin throughout the day and prep skin without drying!   DHC Acerola Lotion comes in a berry dark pink glass bottle and it keeps my face hydrated though the brightening effect is not significant obvious. As a whole, DHC Acerola Lotion is a good toner with alcohol free, as it keeps combination skin clean and clear.   The main ingredient of this product are Acerola berries, which are used to fight against aging. A high content of Vitamin C helps to ward off radical damages to the skin. ...

Discovering LilyLolo at Esette Gourmets & Gifts

Image
Thanks Kay for the invite! I attended the Discovering LilyLolo at Esette Gourmets & Gifts which is located at Duxton Road. It is a small cafe which serves brunch, finger-snacks, desserts and beverages.   Prior to the event, I have never heard of LilyLolo although it is a UK brand. I only know brands like Barry M, No7, Sleek Makeup and Scarlett & Crimson , so this event was definitely an eye-opener for me. LilyLolo was launched in 2005 and was named after 2 founders. The products are free from parabens thus they are suitable for all skin types, even for sensitive skin too.    LilyLolo carries a wide collection of shades for mineral foundation that suit many different skin tones. I was recommended the 'China Doll' (one of the foundation shades) to try on my face and it has pretty good coverage and lightweight as well. I looked natural, and akin to a second skin layer, as the color matched my skin tone very well! ...

Birthday Celebration in Hong Kong

Image
This year, I celebrated my birthday in Hong Kong, and I remembered very clearly that I just went over to Hong Kong last October. Oh well, and this explains that I LOVE HK very much!! Most importantly, we were able to taste some of the best foods and shopping in HKG, in short, I am an ultimate food lover and crazy shopper. As usual, I took Cathay Pacific Airways to Hong Kong, and I did my normal routine thing onboard and that was to browse through the list of newly released movies from the in-flight entertainment guide selection. I selected ' TURBO' to keep me entertained for my entire flight journey as I missed out on catching it when it was showing in the cinemas. After 3hrs 55mins of flying, I finally landed at Hong Kong International Airport , as usual, once I cleared the immigration customs/checks. I proceeded to the nearest 7-11 store to get my 5-day tourist PCCW SIM card which included Mobile Data + unlimited usage of local voice-call and wi-fi. Last b...
