Baby's Birthday Celebration at Paradise Teochew + Jumbo Seafood Restaurant

Image
I recently had a dinner date with my Baby at Paradise Teochew which is located at Level 3 of Takashimaya . The restaurant offers authentic Teochew-style classic dishes. Upon entering the premises, we were led to our seats and started off our meal with some appetizers and complimentary Glutinous Tea. We loved the Steamed Bamboo Clam with Garlic and I simply couldn't stop eating once I started on my first serving! I really enjoyed the Wok-fried ‘Hor Fun’ with Kai Lan and Preserved Turnip , as it had a boost of wok hei . I especially loved the preserved turnips which added a salty crunch to the soft flat rice noodles (hor fun). We also had Teochew styled Pan-fried and Stewed Tofu . The Tofu cubes were laid on a bed of vermicelli in a light savory sauce. Baby and I are fans of bean curd and vermicelli, and we enjoyed it extremely! If you are a fan of such delights, then this will definitely hit the mark for you! The generous amount of vermicelli under the bean curd soaked up the sa...

Birthday Celebration at Etna Italian Restaurant + Dinner at Tipo Pasta Bar & Paradise Teochew

Image
I made a dinner reservation to celebrate Baby’s birthday at Etna Italian Restaurant which is located at the East Coast. Upon arrival, we were led to our table! A complimentary bread basket was served shortly after being seated. The bread with accompanying olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasted divine! We ordered a bowl of Cioppino, and it turned out to be a delicious seafood stew! The tomato stock complimented the seafood well. Baby thoroughly loved it, as did I! Etna Italian Restaurant is a perfect place to enjoy a leisurely meal in a white tablecloth restaurant at a reasonable price. We had a wonderful dinner, and I would recommend eating here if you are nearby the area! The restaurant prepared a scoop of ice-cream with a lit candle on it for Baby as a form of celebration! The serving staff were very friendly and approachable!  Baby, I hope you had a memorable birthday celebration. Being a lovely and nice wife like I always am, I hope you will love my gift for you. Looking ...

Discover the New Side of Blue – The 1664 Brut Blue Party + Lunch at Flipper’s Bugis

Both Baby and I headed down to Kronenbourg's  ‘Discover the New Side of Blue – The 1664 Brut Blue Party'  which was held outside the Mandarin Gallery. At this event, Kronenbourg 1664 introduced a new addition to their beer family - 1664 Brut . It is a sophisticated new brew that is a crisp golden, premium lager beer with a sparkling twist. At the pop-up, we were given a unique chance to pour a draft a complimentary pint of the new 1664 Brut for myself. I loved the sparkling finish that had a hint of floral and grape notes, which gave me a unique and refreshing drinking experience. Thanks 1664 Singapore for the lovely night! Baby and I spent our Sun-date at  Tampopo  which is located at  Takashimaya Shopping Centre . This eatery place is well-known for their  Kuro Buta . The main agenda of making this visit was that Baby needed to renew his membership, and we were given a welcome voucher of SGD38 to redeem within 60days. One of the benefits of being a Tampop...

CNY Gathering at Tang Xiang Charcoal Fish Head Steamboat + Birthday celebration at Sumida

Image
Baby and I spent our Sun-date lunch at Tampopo which is located at Takashimaya Shopping Centre . This eatery place is well-known for their Kuro Buta Ramen. We ordered both of them as our mains, and we also shared yummy Wagyu Beef Croquette and Yaki Ika  as sides to go along with our mains! Thanks for the awesome lunch, Baby! The seven of us had a weekday after-work dinner date at the Sumida下町酒場スミダ , which is located at Suntec City to celebrate Jane’s birthday!  We had a delightful meal together. Crazy as usual! It has been quite a while since we last met up with one another. Ivy arranged for a gathering session with me, S, R, E and E at the Tang Xiang Charcoal Fish Head Steamboat , which is located at 5 Kallang Food Centre . The place serves Signature Charcoal Fish Head Steamboat and an array of zichar dishes. It was still the CNY period when we met up, and naturally our meal started with Fai Cai Yu Sheng for our ‘Lo Hei’ Celebration . A must-try here is their Signa...
