[food review] Overly Cheezy

Image
Hello Everyone! I have been working from home  for almost up to 5 months and counting! This also means that I have to really ponder on what to have for lunch or dinner. Although I do enjoy having home-cooked meals at times, food delivery has now become a part of our daily lives for sure! Recently, I collaborated with Overly Cheezy , and I ordered 2 large pizzas, 2 sides and 2 desserts! My lunch order arrived within my time slot (1pm to 2pm) at 1.30pm. Overly Cheezy opened its first outlet in the heartlands of Hougang. It's the first pizzeria in Singapore to use five different cheeses on every pizza! It consists of Gruyere cheese, (mostly used in high end restaurants), mozzarella, emmental, cheddar orange and parmesan. They are handcrafted with fresh ingredients and premium doughs. They have collaborated with expert chefs from Japan, Italy and France  to create their unique recipes! Although they are using premium ingredients, they keep their pizzas at an affordable price! Kudos t

It's been another of month of the Circuit Breaker, and time sure flies fast!  I am into my second month of working from home (WFH), a nd staying home seems to be a lot easier for me now.  For my daily breakfast,  my Baby will usually prepare toast and tea for me. Recently we tried buying some frozen savory meat pies from the Supermarket, which I felt was okay. Every other day we would have fast food deliveries or take out from the nearby food centres for variety. I mostly kill my time during the Circuit Breaker by watching dramas online. I used to watch dramas from China, Taiwan and Korea, but now I find Thai Dramas are really interesting! Here’s my favourite Thai drama entries (do click the link to find out more about the drama!)  Song Huajai Nee Puea Tur - Two Spirits’ Love  Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat -Love Destiny   Sapai Import    Hua Jai Sila - Heart of Stone Bai Mai Tee Plid Plew - The Fallen Leaf  Since the Circuit Breaker started, many of us

As the government has introduced a 'Circuit Breaker' as an effort to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic, many companies in Singapore have implemented mandatory work-from-home (WFH) policies. We as Singaporeans should play our role to walk through this difficult period together.  My no. 1 unusual challenge is to work from home for the first time, full time. Weekends are no different from weekdays as we spent 24 hours by staying at home. We are only allowed to go out for essential groceries! We started off our Circuit Breaker from April 06, and now it has been extended till the June 01, 2020. I am still adjusting myself to suit the ‘whole new world’. My work normally begins at 8.30am, and now I do not have to waste time on travelling to the office, time can be better spent on breakfast while clearing emails! For my daily breakfast, my Baby will prepare toast and tea for me, but for the times I get tired of bread, he will either then take out from the nearby food
