Both my Baby and I visited The Silky Way, a captivating pop-up by Hermès at   the Marina Bay Sands’ Event Plaza .  Upon entering, we felt that it was like a dreamlike tour into the world of the iconic Hermès carrés . The immersive experience makes its debut in Singapore before travelling to other yet-to-be-announced cities. We were led to a soaring dome-shaped room, and the journey began with a 20-minute short film based on a selection of silk designs that craft a poetic narrative.  After leaving the Hermès exhibition, we settled our dinner at Canton Paradise which is located at Marina Bay Sands (MBS).   Our damage was pretty affordable all thanks to the SGD30 voucher we had to offset the total bill. The 20-metre corridor into KOMA Restaurant has a replica Torii-Gate, which kept reminding me about my previous visit to the Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto ! Baby made a Christmas lunch reservation at KOMA Singapore which is located at the Marina Bay Sands . We didn’t take up the Christmas set, as I prefer to order ala carte, so I ordered some of my usual favorite items from their regular menu.  We also ordered some alcoholic drinks to go with our meal! We started off with the Beef Gyoza , and it tasted awesome! We also ordered the A ssorted Tempura, as they were our all-time favorite! The Grilled Eggplant was perfectly grilled, and it tasted  pretty good. However, on this visit the Yakitori was a bit of a disappointment. The meat was tough, and I honestly have had better. I recommend to give it a miss if you don't really like chewing. Any prior disappointment on the Yakitori was subsequently blown away by the next item that we had. It doesn’t feel oily at all,  although it took some time for my skin to fully absorb the cream. Baby and I made a trip down to the  ArtScience Museum  for the  Hermes 'Leather Forever' World Tour which was ongoing in Singapore. This exhibition is currently open from now till 13th December 2015, and is free admission!   This exhibition features leather work from the past and present, as well as their latest collections. All bags are well-crafted and made from the finest leather.     The 'STAR BAGS' that attracted my attention during my visit to the exhibition.        Hermes has created five unique bags in honor of Singapore to celebrate a half-century of Independence.
