HÜBSCH JESS BABY

Both Baby and I are massive fans of Cantonese food, and I do miss having yummy cuisine in Hong Kong itself. My last visit to Hong Kong was last year during my birthday trip in January. Generally, the dim sum selection which is served in Hong Kong never fails to whet my appetite! I was thrilled when Baby brought me to Legendary Hong Kong Restaurant which is located at Jurong Point , and they serve authentic food delicacies from Hong Kong. Upon stepping into the eatery's premises, I felt I was transported to Hong Kong itself! The interior setting looked exactly like those eatery places that I've been to Hong Kong. In their order chit, there was a section under the Gourmand's Choice ( 食神推荐 ), and Baby was attracted to the Sorrowful Romantic Rice (黯然销魂饭 ) which was from Stephen Chow's movie, 'God of Cookery'! It has been a long hiatus since I met up with Linda over a dinner gathering, so we therefore made a date with each other at Poulet, VivoCity. We tried out the half roasted chicken that was drenched in traditional brown sauce. The Poulet Diane was tasty, and both of us enjoyed it very much! We ordered the Creamy Mushroom Soup, and I love the aroma of the savory soup. It did not taste as creamy as it looked. I love the croutons which added a nice texture to the soup.  Both of us loved the Chicken Wings too!   Lastly, we ended our meal with the Crème Brulee , and it was an absolute treat! It was caramelised to perfection. The serving portion was excellent for sharing, which was definitely worth my both thumbs up! The total damage was SGD44-ish. RKM loves spending quality time with each other on weekends.   OOTD on a random weekend...   I brought Baby to Cocoa Colony, 313 Somerset and they serve nice Hot Cocoa and delicious finger food. Tea lovers - Don't worry! They also serve hot tea at a reasonable price too!   We ordered an Egg Truffle and Cucumber Sandwich and it tasted good! I also had one of my favorite  snacks, ' Prawn Twisters' which are essentially spring rolls with a prawn on the inside. it tasted amazing, and is best with chilli sauce.   Every year, Baby has to go to KL, M'sia to visit his relatives but this year, instead of going over, his relatives came down to Singapore.
