[only on Lifetime] Inaugural Asian Edition of MasterChef - MasterChef Asia

Lifetime brings together 15 aspiring home-cooks from across Asia for the first ever season of this pan-regional, English version of MasterChef Asia .     The judge panel consists of 3 judges. The first, Food Entrepreneur, Ms Audra Morrice , is a singapore-born lady who was a formal finalist of MasterChef Australia. The second judge is Bruno Menard from France, and is a renowned 3-Michelin-Star Chef. The last judge is a Hong Kong-born Culinary Genius, Susur Lee .   Some highlights of the show   In MasterChef Asia, there will be 15 episodes, where the final episode will culminate in one home-cook winning the title of the first ever MasterChef Asia.   The premiere of MasterChef Asia begins with the arrival of 15 of the best home cooks in the region. Hanging out with clique/peers for CNY gatherings

It was nice to meet up with everyone on the first day of the lunar new year, and coincidentally, Yongwei's birthday (also falls on the very same day! A handful of us blogging friends and peers made time to meet up before his birthday was over. I went over to meet him at the meeting place (NEX Shopping Mall) after my dinner at my aunt's place at TPY. Caren and I were the first two people who arrived at Mcdonald's, where gradually, more friends made their way to join us. We had an enjoyable time chatting with one another. Mint and Colin bought some tasty cakes for Yongwei and we did the usual birthday celebration for him. I was happy to end my first day of CNY with them as they are so fun-loving and spontaneous as this gathering was an impromptu suggestion by the birthday boy! Tissue papers are essential for all Singaporeans, as our weather is either hot or wet... Apart from wiping off our sweat or rain drops, we need them to clean our mouth after meals, to dry our hands after washing, our dirty faces etc... I guess the point I'm trying to put across is that we need THEM badly in our daily life... A well-loved tissue brand, PASEO, recreated a nature trail at NEX over the weekend to educate the public on the tissue making process.
