Baby and I love Fridays and we always try to go somewhere nice for dinner after work. We went Imakatsu - a Michelin Bib Gourmand Guide Tokyo , which located at Tanjong Pager Centre . We were excited to dine in as we both haven't had tonkatsu in a while. The meal started with a huge bowl of fresh cabbage with my favorite Sesame (Goma) Dressing Sauce which we happily munched on while waiting for our food! As a sucker for anything miso, I couldn’t resist ordering the Miso Tonkatsu , and it was deliciously succulent. I could taste the freshness of the tonkatsu! I love the gorgeous golden-brown of the tonkatsu with generous miso sauce. I was very impressed with the tonkatsu, as well as with the other side dishes that we had ordered. However, the damage was a bit on the high side, more than I expected. Oh well, the tonkatsu is worth trying as this restaurant does specialize in Tonkatsu after all! Do you guys miss going for running events? I do! I used to go for running events, as nothing beats the feeling of when you have finished a run. This kind of accomplishment is indescribable! However, with the ongoing pandemic, all big running events have been forced to be cancelled. Luckily, we can still do virtual runs on our own at anytime and anywhere, as we can clock our distance and timing by using the various running apps that are available! I signed up for the Tokidoki X AIA Better Lives Charity Run 2021 , and I went to Sentosa to collect my Tokidoki X AIA Better Lives Charity Run Race Pack which included a running t-shirt, towel and stickers. I was excited as this was my second virtual run, and I have finished a total distance of 11.6KM ! I submitted a screenshot of our running time and distance to 42Race APP ! Baby was invited to the Private Preview of the Affordable Art Fair 2017 which was held at the F1 Pit Building . Both Baby and I are art lovers, and we always relish the opportunity to view art! We had a splendid evening at the art fair, and we felt that this year's instalment was much bigger as compared to the previous ones. There were more art exhibitors and more showcases on different type of art pieces. My Sat-date OOTD at Downtown Core ! Baby and I had a good chill-out session on a Saturday afternoon, and we visited the flagship outlet of The Providore which is located at Downtown Gallery . We enjoyed the 1-for-1 drink deal during happy hour, and we shared some fries to go along with our drinks. Thanks Downtown Gallery for the treat!
