[Food Review] Sixth Avenue Porky Prawn Noodles + Thai Makan by Thai Dynasty

Image
Indulge in a flavorful feast at Sixth Avenue Porky Prawn Noodle ! Thanks again for the invite to try out their offerings! The place is located at Sixth Cafelink , which is a small, time-worn coffeeshop just three minutes away from Sixth Avenue MRT Station by foot. Upon reaching, we were greeted by a significant queue which did not subside, even after we were done with our meal as customers kept coming! The prawn broth had a delightful umami flavour as it was simmered for 14 hours to perfection without being overly rich, which suited my taste perfectly. The queue definitely speaks for the restaurant's popularity, and it was clear why it remains busy even during off-peak hours. What really won me over was the variety of condiments available here. Among all, the sour chilli stood out. My choice of the soup version of prawn noodle is suitable for people who want the best of both worlds as it contains prawns, prawn paste, Spare Ribs and Pig tails. Get refreshed with T-Grand International

Image
I was glad to receive a bag full of   goodies   from T-Grand International to try on and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and the taste the products offer! Before I tasted the black tea, my imagination on what the taste would be was totally different from the actual taste. I loved the medium flavor of the black tea. It was not as strong as other black teas I've tasted, but this one had a fine balanced flavor with a hint of sweetness.  T-Grand International  has an appealing package and tasted delicious too at the same time. The main reason behind the good taste is that all products from T-Grand International are made with quality ingredients under the highest quality-control standards and no artificial colorings and preservatives are added.  Everyone knows that black tea has a distinctive flavor and T-Grand International produces an extensive range of beverages based on the unique and tasty flavor of black tea. Best of all, ...

[food review] Café Borsa

Image
I was invited to a quaint and family/homely like-setting bistro, the 'Cafe Borsa' for a food tasting session. Café Borsa is located along Changi Road, and it is a new eatery place opened in April this year.     The very nice and kind Wei Wei invited me and Baby to the café, which was set up by her equally friendly and affable parents and younger brother (who wasn't present). The café was set up as a western cuisine eatery to cater to even our Muslim friends, as all the food is halal certified. The food ranges from finger food/snacks, to more main dishes, such as pasta, sandwiches, chicken wings and etc, which I will detail more upon shortly.     Wei Wei's daddy is the head chef of the eatery, and his skill stems from his hobby of experimenting on food and refining his technique. He is a passionate cook, and frequently invents his own recipes by watching various food programmes on television, in conjunction with reading cookbooks and meshing ...
