[Food Review] Sixth Avenue Porky Prawn Noodles + Thai Makan by Thai Dynasty

Indulge in a flavorful feast at Sixth Avenue Porky Prawn Noodle! Thanks again for the invite to try out their offerings! The place is located at Sixth Cafelink, which is a small, time-worn coffeeshop just three minutes away from Sixth Avenue MRT Station by foot.

Upon reaching, we were greeted by a significant queue which did not subside, even after we were done with our meal as customers kept coming!

The prawn broth had a delightful umami flavour as it was simmered for 14 hours to perfection without being overly rich, which suited my taste perfectly. The queue definitely speaks for the restaurant's popularity, and it was clear why it remains busy even during off-peak hours.

What really won me over was the variety of condiments available here. Among all, the sour chilli stood out.

My choice of the soup version of prawn noodle is suitable for people who want the best of both worlds as it contains prawns, prawn paste, Spare Ribs and Pig tails. The luscious prawn paste is apparently their best-seller!

It was my first time visiting, but it definitely won’t be my last! I had the prawn noodle soup with ribs and pig tails. The broth was simply amazing! It was rich and had a sweet prawn essence with a flavorful umami porky goodness!

For only $5.50, you get a bowl of noodles with a generous amount of ingredients. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for authentic prawn noodles, and I will be back for sure!

If you are an avid fan of Thai cuisine, then Thai Makan by Thai Dynasty might be a good choice for you. It is located at Heartbeat @ Bedok - One Two Eat Foodcourt. It is Halal certified and serves up authentic and affordable Thai cuisine!

It is definitely a real hidden gem with really authentic Thai dishes! All their chefs are Thai, which explains well on the authenticity of the food! Most importantly, even though the food is delicious, the portions are generous as well!

The refreshing Thai Mango Salad also perked up our appetites!

The Phad Thai is the staple in Thai cuisine, and I enjoyed it very much. It’s one of the better ones among those that I’ve had before!

We absolutely loved the Thai Tom Yum Soup! The ingredients within the soup were very generous. The spiciness level was just right for us and was rounded off with a well-balanced taste of sourness!

Just four words to sum it up for our dining experience - WE WILL BE BACK!
