[Happy Weekend] Tan Yu 探鱼 - Somerset 313 + Donburi King - PLQ

Image
Happy weekends!  Baby and I headed to town to have our late lunch at  Tan Yu 探鱼,  which is located at Somerset 313 . Both of us are not a fan of classic mala cuisine, so therefore, we ordered the Grilled Fish with Soy Sauce (a non-spicy version!). For our easy indulgence, we picked up the fish fillets instead of a whole fish. I enjoyed eating the Noodles with Garlic Oil very much, and it has become a ‘MUST-ORDER’ item in  Tan Yu 探鱼  for me!  The total damage was SGD73-ish, which I felt that the price was a bit on the higher side as compared to other similar concepts in town. However, the food was tasty, and the portions were acceptable, so these factors made up for the hefty damage. I received an email invite from FANCL  to their Core of Beauty Virtual Masterclass ! I redeemed the goodie bag after the zoom event from a preferred outlet of my choosing. I received   a 5-Day Whitening Trial Kit  which included 10 packs of Moist Refine Lotion I,...

[beauty event] Elite Eyes Treatment by Prive Aesthetics + FANCL BEAUTYCLASS

Image
As mentioned before on my previous post, both Tracy and I attended the 'Her World x Palais Renaissance Beauty Playground' event which was held at the Palais Renaissance. We were glad to be given the opportunity try out the ‘Elite Eyes Treatment’ by Prive Aesthetics , and I had a complete Eye-Rejuvenating experience! ‘Elite Eyes' is a non-invasive lifting treatment for the delicate eye area to achieve a more youthful complexion and to improve skin texture. The treatment uses a combination of radiofrequency energy, ultrasound and skin cooling to emit heat its energy to the deeper layers of my skin. It tightens the skin and stimulates collagen production. I experienced a warm sensation during the session when the device delivered its energy to the deeper layers of the skin. My eye areas now seem to be suppler and uplifting. Lastly, thanks Prive Aesthetic for the pampering treat!  I was happy to be selected to attend the FANCL’s NO PRESERVATI...

A visit to Singapore Night Safari

Image
Thanks Wildlife Reserves Singapore Group for a pair of tickets to the Night Safari! It is the world's first nocturnal zoo which was officially opened in 1994. It had been a long hiatus since I went to the Night Safari, and finally I had the chance to visit the park again.   The tram ride was included in the admission tickets that we had, and it took tourists on an approximate 40 minute ride around the entire park! The queue was horrendously long but it was moving fast. Well, I guess the tram can take many passengers at one go!   The animals were active at night, and I only took a few photos, before focusing on enjoying the tram ride. Being a nocturnal zoo, the lights had been set up to resemble moonlight. Excessive light will blind the animals, and therefore flash photography is strictly prohibited. It was also a big challenge for me to take good photos under such poor lighting conditions! We explored 4 walking trails ...

All about the happenings around me

Happy Birthday, Merlion The Merlion celebrates its 40th anniversary this September, and joining our usual group of friends, was Jasmine aka Chewy Jas . We went down to Ngee Ann City to shower our blessings to our iconic Merlion, by pen-ing down our birthday wishes for the Merlion on the ‘scales’ board and hanging them up on  The Merlion Art Installation Sculpture. There is a newly opened Fancl outlet at Ion Orchard, and they gave out Sure-win Lucky dips with no purchases required. I always  love Fancl supplement products, in fact, I purchase them monthly, therefore I was happy that I got to win a SGD5 off voucher from the Sure-win Lucky dip. I attended the Prabal Gurung's Debut Collection by ICB Autumn/Winter fashion runway with my clique/besties. The collection was awesome. I love the unique design and versatility of the jackets. The dresses looked classy and chic. Thanks ICB for the lovely Shiseido tria...
