[random] Jess Baby's Space

Image
On a random weekend, Baby and I went over to one of Sushiro outlets nearest to our house for dinner. We visited the outlet at  Bedok Mall. They are presently running a new promotion, and if you are a lover of Dakkozushi , then you are in luck. You can take home the cute Dakkozushi Bento Box when you order a Chirashi Bento Box at SGD19.90. It is filled with a wide variety of ingredients and sushi rice!  There are 2 designs to choose from - Maguro Rakko Bento and Ikura Panda Bento . I picked up both designs on separate visits!  We recently had an after-work dinner at Din Tai Feng at MBS. We ordered our usual favorites!  I still enjoy their chef's recommendation, Mushroom La Mian after so many years!  A random weekend, Baby and I went over to Bedok Mall to have our dinner, and we settled at Paradise Classic ! Nothing beats having a nice meal with my man! Thanks for sending over the Original Sprout Miracle Detangler together with 2 sachets - Hair and Body Ba...

[random] Dinner at Mui Kee Congee + Ichi Restaurant & Bar + Na Na Original Thai

Image
After work, we went for dinner at Mui Kee Conge e on a random weekday. This popular eatery place is located at Shaw Centre . We ordered the Homemade Pork Meatball Congee , and there was actually a hint of 'wok hei' in the porridge! I also picked up a bowl of Crispy Fried Fritters ( You Tiao ) to go along with my porridge. The Beef Brisket was the highlight of our meal, as both of us really enjoyed the generous portions of the beef meat/tenderloin and each piece of meat tasted awesomely good and tender. Mui Kee Congee is definitely worth a try if you want to experience porridge with 'wok hei'. The whole eatery place has strong Cantonese/Hong Kong vibes, and the service here was fairly efficient. Recently, I picked up some Four’N Twenty Pies from FairPrice for our BBQ Party. The pies are made of 100% Australian beef in delicious gravy which are wrapped in golden pastry! The pies have a great taste and are of a irresistible flavor, and are easy and quick to prepare...

[random] Ramen Nagi + Red Star Restaurant

Image
After my visit to 'Ramen Nagi' with some of my colleagues a few weeks back, I told Baby that the Ramen tasted pretty good, and he was quite receptive to giving the place a visit for dinner during a random mid-week. He came down to Suntec City after work, and lucky there was no queue at all. Both of us ordered the Original Butao King . The texture of the Tonkotsu broth was velvety smooth and it tasted good. I love the noodles very much and it went well with the creamy collagen-filled broth! The damage was SGD30-plus.   Recently, there are many new food joints that have opened at Suntec City, and being a avid foodie myself, I visited OMU for a random weekday lunch with my colleagues Suni and Irene! The total damage was SGD46-ish! Another Sunday Dim Sum Brunch with Baby and Auntie Vi! This time we visited the old Red Star Restaurant which is located at Chin Swee Road . The Red Star Restaurant is an old school Cantonese Restaurant with a big di...

Time for some Jess Baby's randoms

Cutie Pie, May bought me some facial masks during her holiday to Korea a couples of months ago. Thanks so much, and I love them loads     I had a quick Korean fix with Huiqin (a part-timer who was brought in to relief Dearie during her maternity leave) during lunch time, and we went to  Korean BBQ which is located at Marina Square. I had the  Kimchi Soup Set which cost me SGD11-ish (inclusive of GST).      Din Tai Feng opened a new joint outlet at Suntec City recently, and I decided to go there for my lunch fix. I had their chef's recommendation, Mushroom La Mian .     Sunrise on a random weekend, Baby and I drove to Tampines, Koufu@Giant for a prata fix. We simply love weekends as these two days help us to retreat from our daily work stress, so in order to re-charge us back for the next working week, we tend to just have quiet moments, peaceful and tranquil.   Baby and I re-visited Sum Kee Food, A Tr...
