I am back again with the second character of the classic plush toys from McDonald's   Birdie is a yellow bird. known for being a blabbermouth. She wears a pink jumpsuit as well as aflight cap and scarf. However she was is poor flyer and somewhat clumsy in general.     Baby got it for me again for a good cause, and I feel great and contented that we are able to do trivial things to help the society.     Holding on to the plush toys brought back my rollin' good times spent during my younger days, as it is  nostalgic for me...   We made a trip down to Taman Century, Johor Bahru, Malaysia to ease our craving on Wanton Mee. In Taman Century , there are 3 eatery places that sell wanton mee, and of course, Restoran Ho Seng Kee and Restoran Yit Foh receive more rave reviews among the 3 food joints. This time round, we didn’t visit everyone’s favorite, Restoran Ho Seng Kee or our favorite, Restora...

We returned to Xin Wang Hong Kong Café for our dinner, and again, we chose the outlet located at Holland Village.     Baby had BP Pork Chop and the serving was pretty huge, which made it worth paying for.     I had my usual favorite, Mee Hoon with Luncheon Meat and Hard Boiled Egg in Papaya Soup . The soup tasted delicious and this is the only entrée that I will never fail to order whenever I visit this food joint.   The damage was SGD30-ish and we ended our meal with a glass of Ice HK Ying Yang and a cup of Chinese Tea ...       After my visit to Restoran Ho Seng Kee last month, I felt that there are pros and cons between dining in Ho Seng Kee and my favorite haunt, Restoran Yit Foh. After a quick comparison between ourselves, we decided to go back to our favorite eatery place, Restoran Yit Foh to have our wanton mee during my recent visit in early November...   The waiting time for ...

Blackball dessert shop recently opened one more outlet in Harbourfront Centre , and Baby and I visited the shop and shared a bowl of Ice   Signature Blackball . It cost us SGD5.90, which is kind of pricey as I remembered I only paid RM6.90 for the same dish at KSL City in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.     We went to have some Wanton Mee fix at Restoran Ho Seng Kee in Taman Century (near KSL Mall) instead of our favorite haunt, Restoran Yit Foh as we are going to do some comparisons...     Upon ordering, we were to wait for 20mins for our orders to be served up. The whole eatery place was full of waiting customers and a long list of take-away too...   The wantons from Restoran Ho Seng Kee are larger and filled with generous portions of lightly marinated minced pork as compared to our favorite haunt, Restoran Yit Foh . I like the soup base and wanton taste from Restoran Yit Foh.   The home-made egg noodles which produ...
