[PART 02] Weekend Getaway to Phuket, Thailand

My short write up/throwback on my Phuket Holiday continues... The Hotel Burasari has only one eatery place, the 'Kantok Restaurant' , which serves morning buffet breakfast as well as all-day ala carte dining. Our stay was inclusive of breakfast, and I must say the spread was quite impressive! There was a wide selection of Western, Thai and Asian cuisines. I was quite enamoured with the different food options, especially on the egg station! After breakfast, we made our way to ‘ Let's Relax Spa'  for a relaxing spa indulgence! Baby was first introduced to this spa joint during our last trip to Phuket. I loved the service they rendered, as they began by washing our feet before leading us to the massage room for our treatment.    We were given biscuits and lemongrass tea after our treatment. The damage was slightly on the high side as compared to our massage parlours back home in Singapore, but I think it was worth it! ...

Baby and I purchased air tickets to Phuket, Thailand in March, as we couldn't resist JetStar's crazy sales! Flying time to Phuket from Singapore is about 1hr 45 minutes, and only paid SGD120 per pax for our round trip tickets! It was pretty nice to walk around in Jewel in the early morning, as the mall was practically empty. We were there at 5.40am, as our flight was scheduled to depart in the morning at 7.55am! Prior to our departure, we purchased an airport-hotel transfer online that cost us SGD60 for a round trip. Baby took a photo of me at the waiting area with our 'barang' while waiting for our driver! The car journey took approx 60 mins to get to our pre-booked hotel. 'Burasari Phuket Hotel Resort' is located in the heart of the bustling beach town of Patong, which is famous for its vibrant night scene.
