[Food Review] Fook Kin 福劲 + Polar Bear Sisters
I recently had a dinner date with Tracy at Fook Kin 福劲 , which is located a short walk away from Somerset MRT. As we were approaching the eatery place, we could see that Fook Kin adopts a Chinese concept, whereby the restaurant’s signboard was in Chinese words as well. The exterior of the restaurant had traditional foldable gates like the older stores in Singapore, giving it a touch of nostalgia. Upon entering the eatery, we were greeted with a cheeky sign… Oh well, it explains just how much they appreciate our visit. The neon lights in the restaurant reminded us of a modernised bar, which might be more attractive to the younger crowd. Of course, you’ll need some drinks to go with your meal.
