I entered the world of blogging way back in 2010, and it has been a great experience for me. I am happy to have met some blogger friends during my blogging journey whom have become my close good friends/buddies!   One of my closest friends from this journey is the lovely Meryl! Our paths crossed way back in 2014 when we attended a random food tasting together. We became closer as the years went by, and we've created many lovely memories together. We will definitely even have more together in the near future!   We met up recently on a random midweek for dinner at Mischief  which is located at Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay , both of us redeemed a free pint of  Tiger Crystal  during our dinner!  Apart from enjoying our free drinks, we also shared 1 side and 1 main course to go along with our beers. Nothing beats spending quality time together with your girlfriend on a night out! Lastly, thanks ' Tiger' for the complimentary drink! It's Tortilla time! Fa...

[random] Ramen Nagi + Red Star Restaurant

After my visit to 'Ramen Nagi' with some of my colleagues a few weeks back, I told Baby that the Ramen tasted pretty good, and he was quite receptive to giving the place a visit for dinner during a random mid-week. He came down to Suntec City after work, and lucky there was no queue at all. Both of us ordered the Original Butao King . The texture of the Tonkotsu broth was velvety smooth and it tasted good. I love the noodles very much and it went well with the creamy collagen-filled broth! The damage was SGD30-plus.   Recently, there are many new food joints that have opened at Suntec City, and being a avid foodie myself, I visited OMU for a random weekday lunch with my colleagues Suni and Irene! The total damage was SGD46-ish! Another Sunday Dim Sum Brunch with Baby and Auntie Vi! This time we visited the old Red Star Restaurant which is located at Chin Swee Road . The Red Star Restaurant is an old school Cantonese Restaurant with a big di...

[all about food] SG + KL FOOD GEM

A short weekend getaway to KL, Malaysia is something I always look forward to, as it is a chance to recharge myself after a week of stressful work. We drove up on  a Saturday morning at 5am, and we reached KL at 10.30am. We did our usual routine upon reaching Uncle Mike's place which was shopping, makan-ing and lepak-ing.   At night, Uncle Mike drove us to Kepong to try out Sze Ngan Chye's famous Roasted Duck. The restaurant actually first opened at Petaling Street, which is located at the heart of KL Town . Luckily, they opened another branch at Kepong which only required 20 minutes of driving from Uncle Mike's place.   Apart of having the succulent roasted duck, I also had Minced Pork Spinach Noodles , and it tasted delicious! Thanks for the heart-warming dinner!     The next morning, Uncle Mike brought us to Pudu, KL town area for famous San Peng Prawn Noodles for brunch. This yummy bowl of prawn noodles nev...
