Singapore was chosen to be the world's first Asian Gelato capital on the Second Edition of the  Gelato World Tour. This event was held at Marina Bay Sands. The Gelato Village flagged off the 'Formula One of Gelato' and in conjunction with the celebration of the 50 years anniversary of Singapore.   The Gelato World Tour , the first international travelling competition in search of the best flavors throughout the world, is directed by the prestigious Carpigiani Gelato University.
