[Meryl's Birthday Celebration] Dinner at Tomacado 花厨 + Campout Experience at ME Café & Games
5 days before Meryl’s actual birthday, Chewy and I arranged for a
dinner celebration at Tomacado 花厨, which
is located at Paragon Shopping Centre. It is a popular floral-themed restaurant
and lifestyle concept from China, and the menu offers a wide selection - fusion of
Western, Chinese, Japanese, and Southeast Asian flavours.
Tomacado was sweet enough to take note that we were having Meryl’s birthday celebration, and gave her a birthday cake with 'Happy Birthday' written in icing powder as well! The service rendered to us was top-notch, and the serving staff were very friendly!
Happy Birthday, my dear friend - Meryl ❤️ Many
Happy Returns!
We took some random group photos before leaving the restaurant. We
had a delightful dinner, and we enjoyed our dinner very much.
The deco, ambience and service are definitely 5/5! Tomacado blends floral vibes with good quality food well, making it worth a try!
After our meal, we walked over to our next activity which we had prepared for her. While heading to the next venue, we were asked by the staff from The MINI x Paul Smith Edition Pop-Up which was outside the Mandarin Gallery to take some photos at their photo booth. Being a nice person as always, we stopped and did what they requested.
ME Café & Games is located at Orchard
Gateway. This outlet is themed to look like a camping ground and there are
roaming cats you can pet.
We were given 30mins to enter the cats' area where we can find many pretty felines roaming around for us to cuddle with and pet them.
They also offer a wide selection of board & console games to choose from. We preferred to play games from the Nintendo Switch than board games. We played a few rounds of Mario Kart and Mario Party.
We love the whole concept - Party in a private glamping tent with folding chairs, picnic tables, and fairy lights to play games or chat chit as the charges come with a complimentary drink. It gives a feeling that you’re outdoors as the tents are parked under artificial trees and foliage, and the ground is covered in loose gravel.
This was our first time experiencing the Campout and I was happy that the birthday girl enjoyed herself as much as I enjoyed myself!
