Dim Sum Brunch at Kai Duck by Kai Garden + Merry Cheesemas at Burger King + Xing Hua Restaurant

Happy Weekends!

It may be pretty difficult to find an affordable yet delicious Cantonese-style Peking duck in Singapore. On a random weekend, I went to Kai Duck, by Kai Garden, which is located at Ngee Ann City for lunch. It serves awesome Cantonese-style Peking duck and dim sum at affordable prices.

The Sliced Peking Duck with Crackers tasted pretty unique as it was a stack of layers of crackers, vegetables and sliced Peking duck skin in homemade sauce. I love the thin and crispy duck skin, as well as the special sauce which was prepared from scratch!

We had Deep-fried Yam and Pumpkin, and I love the natural sweetness from the pumpkin!

The Pan-fried Carrot Cake was shaped like a pizza. It is a modern take on the classic dim sum dish. It is filled with lots of turnip, and pan fried to a maximum crisp on the outside, yet remained soft on the inside.

We had a nice lunch and the damage was pleasant too. Thanks Baby for the meal!

Are you a fan of Christmas? Do you love eating burgers? Put two together by heading down to Burger King! The brand-new Burger King Cheesemas Beef and Chicken burgers are now during this festive season!

Recently, I got myself a Cheesemas Chicken Burger Meal, and it really tasted like Christmas, if Christmas was a taste! Try them out soon as they are on for a limited time only. HO HO HO Merry Cheesemas!

Both Baby and I revisited Xing Hua Restaurant which is located at Chinatown Point. As usual, we ordered Xing Hwa Lu Mian, and it tasted extremely delicious!

The Sweet and Sour Pork with Lychee is our all-time favorite, and we have never failed to order it whenever we visit this eatery place

The Har Cheong Gai (Prawn Paste Fried Chicken) tasted pretty good! Overall, our dinner was pleasant, and the damage was SGD51-ish.

Comments

I have never tried a meat with lyches.
