[food review] Lobster Mazesoba at Menya Sakura

Recently, Menya Sakura introduced the limited time only Lobster Mazesoba. This dish is served dry, and Mazesoba has become more popular lately in Singapore. Menya Sakura provides a free upsize, thus it makes it perfect for patrons with big appetites.

Upon being seated, we were given access to a free-flow mini salad bar which is offered to all their customers courtesy of Menya Sakura.

The Lobster Mazesoba has a unique medley of flavors, from savory to tangy. The thick miso paste is one of the various toppings, alongside spring onions, seaweed strips, tomatoes, a poached egg, and a lobster croquette. Before digging in, you need to douse all these ingredients with the ramen noodles, and do ensure that the vinegar and chili oil is mixed well too.

I enjoyed the Lobster Mazesoba very much, as the noodles were cooked pretty al dente with an amazingly delicious chewy bite. The portion of the mixture was proportional with the bouncy noodles. I really love the lobster cream croquette and I wish that there had been more. Those who love lobster should not hesitate to try this dish, and so don’t miss this chance to indulge in the Lobster Mazesoba while it is still available at Menya Sakura!

Apart from the Lobster Mazesoba, we also had our MUST-ORDER, Gyoza too. It tasted awesomely good, and each gyoza was perfect cooked!

I really love dining at Menya Sakura, as they make their ramen simple, but tastes heavenly good which leaves us wanting more! Lastly, thanks for hosting us!
