[anniversary celebration] The Working Capitol turns 4
The Working Capitol (TWC) entered Singapore’s commercial scene in 2015, where co-working wasn’t regarded as a progressive lifestyle choice so much as it was a necessity for start-ups to offset Singapore’s premium rental.
The TWC offers a
different experience of a start-up shared office environment, as it houses a
plethora of facilities including a large pantry, beer garden, café, meeting
rooms, and a 200-capacity events hall.
We are invited to
be a part of the celebratory of TWC’s 4th Anniversary. TWC is a co-working
office that is transformed from heritage historic shophouse in Chinatown.
To mark their 4th
birthday, TWC has transformed their event space, The Commons into a 1920s theme
sparkling gala. They have set up their own Kachang Puteh Bar to bring back the
memories of our yester-years.
Bula, a drinking pub area which is located at TWC offered 4
different cocktails to mark their 4 years at TWC. Each cocktail told a story of
each year at the helm. The 4 exquisite tastes were Gin Chryst, Buttered Old
Fashioned, Curried Sourz and Cuppa Martini. Among the 4, I enjoyed the best was the
Gin Chryst cocktail the best.
The food offered
during the party was to pay tribute to Singaporean classics that have withstood
the test of time. There were a few Singaporean dishes that had a twist/fusion element to it that were available for sampling at the event. I really enjoyed them very much, especially the Salted Egg Chicken Bao by The Bao Maker!
We really love
the Nasi Lemak which was offered by The Coconut Club, as it tasted awesomely
delicious. Do visit them at No. 6 Ann Siang Hill, Singapore 069787.
I quite enjoy the
concept of having the option to rent Co-working space at an affordable rate!
Young entrepreneurs who wish to start up a business but lack the funds to do so
can consider this unique option from TWC!
Thanks for the
invite! I hereby wish TWC a very happy 4th Anniversary and many happy returns.
We brought home a goody bag consisted of happy childhood memories!
