I am huge fan of the half fish - half man Sanrio cartoon character
Hangyodon, so my closest girlfriends made a lunch reservation to the
limited-time Hangyodon Pop-up Café which was held at Wong Fu Fu, a
Halal-certified Taiwanese-inspired Café.
We ordered the Signature Mini Bowls which feature cold ramen and Torched Smoked Duck. This set came with a Hangyodon Bag Charm!
We ordered all the three mains in the themed menu, a snack box and a themed dessert.
It is definitely worth visiting the Hangyodon Pop-Up Café, or
should I say this café is a must-visit for fans!
Thanks for getting the lovely dessert cake, and thanks everyone for making time for a simple gathering to celebrate my birthday!
We continued our date after our lunch, and we headed down to HaveFun Karaoke for some singing session which is located at Bugis Cube.
As Rena needed to attend her swimming lessons, Chewy had to make a move first. We continued the night without them, so Meryl suggested to go to the latest hidden spot located within the Singapore Mint Museum of Toys.
The Rodeo Table was newly opened in December 2025, and this causal spot piqued our interests with its unique blend of Tex-Mex cuisine and Japanese influences. Seating options are versatile, with both low and high table seats available. We were so lucky to get a table without making any advance reservations.
The Rodeo Table is running (special opening promotions for January, so we were given one-for-one frozen margaritas (U.P. $18 each) This deal is applicable when you dine with a female friend.
We shared the signature dish of the place, the 'Flaming Chicken Fajitas', and it came served on a sizzling hot skillet. Each succulent chicken thigh strip was deliciously marinated, giving it an irresistible smoky flavour. In classic fajita-style, have them with the house-made flour tortillas and accompanying sides (salsa, lime and green salsa sauce).
Of course, what’s a Tex-Mex feast without nachos? We picked up the classic nacho for sharing.
Thanks for the day, Dearie, Meryl :)
Lastly, thanks for the lovely gifts, Besties!
On the other hand, Sweetie also arranged an early birthday gathering with me before my birthday trip to Shanghai. It was a
great catch up! We went to the Skosh Café which is located in the campus
of Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA). We had a really fabulous time
hanging out. I am looking forward for our next meet up!
