[Spending quality time together] Standing Sushi Bar + Hvala & T5 in the Making Exhibition
I love weekends, and I started my day by heading to Changi Jewel to have breakfast at Tsui Wah!
Changi Airport has rolled out an enchanting Disney Cruise Line-themed Celebration called ‘The Magic of Adventure’. Therefore, after our brekkie, we went to Terminal 3 to explore the six-metre Disney Adventure ship installation, helmed by Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie.
There were many pop-up zones with photo-worthy backdrops. I took some random photos before our visit-slot for the T5 in the Making exhibition.
Baby and I was curious to see what Terminal Five Changi Airport is going to look like? Therefore, we registered ourselves to attend the T5 in the Making Exhibition which was held at Terminal 3 (arrival hall level).
At the ‘check-in area’, we collected our personalized ‘boarding pass’ with our name printed on it. This pass also served as a stamp rally card where you can collect five adorable Teddy Bear embossed stamps.
There are five zones of interactive displays and a scale model plus experiential spaces, where you can see the magic behind the airport of the future.
After the exhibition tour, be sure to flash your exhibition boarding pass at Changi Airport’s retail and F&B stores to enjoy some deals.
Baby and I went for a casual HandRoll Omakase at Standing Sushi
Bar which is located at Odeon 331. Limited to 10 seats for each session.
What I like about the Standing Sushi Bar Omakase is that they offer generous fresh seafood and less rice.
The damage was affordable, despite the restaurant using high quality seafood. Thanks for the Omakase HandRoll Indulgence, as it elevated my sushi experience with unique rolls. It's a luxurious treat that won't break the bank!
If you are okay with a no frills Omakase meal where quality is decent for its price, then the Standing Sushi Bar is worth a try to satisfy your Japanese cravings!
I end my day with my dessert indulgence at Hvala. I love the cool interior as part of the café features a tatami concept.
Both Baby and I had a great quality time together. Thanks Baby for
making my everyday a blessed one!
I end my post with my attendance to the Healthy Hokkaido Summer Tourism Seminar which was held at the Sophia Cooke Ballroom @ YWCA Fort Canning.
I picked up some travel tips through this seminar. I was lucky enough to win a small prize during the lucky draw segment!
