[September Holiday] Day 03 in Hong Kong

Today is my last day in Hong Kong, and as usual, we had our breakfast at the Club Lounge.

After our breakfast, we made our way SaSa to buy ELEANOR make-up items which are available exclusively at SaSa Hong Kong. You may find them at SaSa Malaysia (only at selected outlets) as well but the range are quite limited. The products are made in Japan, and their formula and quality of the products are amazing.

I picked up some cosmetics from ELEANOR The Miracle Key make-up series, and I loved the Victorian-esque inspired packaging of The Sheer Veil Pressed Powder.

I got the shade of #02 Honey. The weightless formulation helps to control shine for a flawless matte finish. It also works well as a touch-up powder.

The Color Lip Balm glides well like butter, and it is not sticky at all.

The Ultra Fine Gel Eyeliner was amazing, as it glides on smoothly for a flawless, precise application. The gel-based eyeliner stayed so well on my eyelids for the whole day. It is anti-smudge by sweat, tears and sebum, which is only available in Brown color!

I decided to pick up this eye-shadow palette by rom&nd after seeing many good reviews online!

There are many dim sum restaurants in Hong Kong, but we went to a hidden ex-Michelin Star restaurant that serves affordable dim sum items. It was just a few minutes’ walk from Prince Edward MTR.

We settled at ONE DIM SUM 一點心, they are famous and best known for their authentic traditional recipes of serving Cantonese dim sum for many years in Hong Kong. They do not take reservations, so we were in the line for about 20 minutes before we were given a table.

They are packed with diners but service is fast and efficient. We had a great time having some famous staples like Siew Mai, BBQ Pork Buns and Rice Roll with Prawns. We also ordered some of their own innovative items such as Mango Rolls.

The Siew Mai was filled with the juicy minced pork and prawns.

For dessert, we ordered the Mango Rolls, and it was delicious. The mango in the middle was extremely fresh and juicy.

If you’re looking for yummy dim sum yet affordable at the same time, then ONE DIM SUM should definitely be on your list. Most importantly, the staff were pretty efficient and friendly. It was a very memorable lunch for us, as we were leaving Hong Kong at night. We will come back to One Dim Sum again when I re-visit Hong Kong as nothing beats enjoying a cheap dim sum meal in a no-frills local restaurant!

After our lunch, we walked to Ladies' Marketto see if I could buy anything for myself or my friends, but unfortunately there was nothing interesting for me. Oh well, I think I'm now nonchalant on street markets!

Good times fly by so fast!! I headed back to the hotel to pick up our luggage from the concierge, and took the Airport Express ride back to airport from Hong Kong Station. We had our dinner at the airport before boarding the plane back to Singapore.

That concluded my super short trip to Hong Kong, but I am quite certain that I will return soon!
