LG’s G Cafe Pop-Up Store for LG Optimus G

To celebrate the recently launched LG Optimus G in Singapore which was conducted at the Jubilee Hall, Gardens by the Bay. The LG’s G Cafe Pop-Up Store, the retail and lifestyle concept store was set up to allow consumers to see and experience the unique features of LG Optimus G. The LG’s G Cafe Pop-Up Store is open now till 8th March 2013 from 12pm to 9pm daily, and it is situated at Wisma Atria Atrium.

 
Life is pretty Good for us (Sweetie, Jas Jas and Yours Truly) as all of us were invited to spend our Korean evening with LG at the G Cafe Pop-Up Store.

LG's G Cafe Pop-Up Store comprises of 3 experience zones for consumers to learn more about the design, performance and user interface features.

 
We were given a short brief on the features and functions of LG Optimus G, and I personally find them pretty interesting and unique.



 
Being labelled as G Cafe, there is an actual cafe without saying, where consumers can enjoy a freshly brewed cup of coffee from the popular Melbourne style coffee brewers, The Plain.

 
 
We ordered two of their speciality coffee, Lavender Latte and G hits the spot (Latte with Mint) to share among ourselves. They both tasted pretty good and I love the latte artwork, but most importantly, the aroma of the coffee is totally irresistible.

 
There is a mini photo area to test out the camera function and the quality of the photo taken by LG Optimus G when it is printed out.
 



We were pretty amazed by the size of the printer as it is on par with the LG Optimus G. The most awesome thing is that there is no ink cartridges required for the printer as it runs the NFC (Near Field Communication) technology to do the jobs. To print out the images in the photo gallery, all you have to do is to place the handset on the printer and it will read it automatically. One more feature to add on, you can insert your personal QR code or texts / messages on the photo before the printing of the images.

Apart from all the goodness features and functions of LG Optimus G, we were treated to some authentic Korean delights during the event.

LG brought a little surprise to all the shoppers, as Hwang Min-Woo, better known as ‘Little PSY’ made his special debut appearance in Singapore on the 27 February 2013 at the LG’s G Cafe Pop Up Store.  
 
The talented nine year-old kid is known for appearing in the viral hit music video, 'Gangnam Style' with popular Korean rapper, PSY. He performed his signature dance moves and upbeat choreography to 'Gangnam Style', 'Loving You' and 'Billie Jean'. That was a REAL GOOD chance to catch him LIVE in person.

Lastly, I want to thank LG for the invite!! I really love the awesome chocolate bar and the photo print-out.
