Real Escape Game + AXN Ultimate Year-End Bash
In July, I was invited to play in the Escape Hunt which was located at the Concorde Hotel Shopping Arcade, and I had a thrilling experience solving the puzzles! Hence, when Samuel extended a new invite to me for a similar event, the 'Real Escape Game', I accepted it gladly without any second thought.
We met up our team members at Yio Chu Kang Stadium where the Real Escape
Game took place. We challenged the ATTACK ON TITAN: ESCAPE FROM THE WALLED
CITY. After a great success in Japan, the game-masters decided to bring the
game concept to Singapore.
I was surprised that the game did not require us to be locked inside a room but instead, we were at an open field looking out for clues and hints to solve the mystery puzzles. We formed a team of 8 on a time frame of 60 minutes, and we had to compete with other teams at the same time.
We were put into a role of a group of soldiers and our tasks were to gather clues/hints in order to solve the puzzle for advancement to the next stage. There were 3 stages to complete the game, but to be honest, the game was very difficult to solve, as it was so mind-boggling. We spent almost 25 minutes to move up from stage 1.
As time was running up, our team was desperately trying hard with our wild
guesses at passwords, and most of our passwords were denied! Within an hour, we only managed to solve stage 2, but we did our very best so we had no regrets. The
game was very challenging, and it was cleverly designed too. When the answers were
revealed in the end, we were pretty shocked and surprised with how the answers
were obtained. On well, I have to say whoever came out with the escape game is
a genius with an excellent high IQ.
We took a photo of our group before leaving the game premises, and we had a fun and
bonding time together. It is a perfect game for team building!
I extended my invites to Sweetie (Shuqing), Dearie (Meryl) and Lovelie
(Joanne) to attend the AXN Ultimate Year-End Bash which was held at M2 Academy,
Orchard Gateway @ Emerald. We met up with Samuel and his friend, Terry at the party
too.
There was some performance by our local Hip Hop/Pop Duo, TRICK, and all
attendees were treated to a free-flow of Monkey Shoulder’s Whisky.
We got excited when we saw a replica of the Judge's chair from the American Reality TV show/singing competition, 'The Voice'!
We took some photos at the photo booth together, and thanks for the lovely
printouts!
We enjoyed playing Jenga together, as it bonded us closer.
Thanks for the invite, and we look forward to our next meet up together!
