TGIS Season 2

Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SingTel) launched TGIS for Singaporeans to get connected online and find new ways to experience the latest technology last December. Season 1 was very well received, and some episodes received as many as 373K views.

Due to the success of Season 1, SingTel is proud to launch their second season of TGIS, lifestyle series on YouTube after a great response from viewers.

With a new look for its second season, TGIS aims to entertain and educate young Singaporean adults on both local and international infotainment news The show retains its vivacious host from Season 1, Joanne-Marie Sim, who was voted Singapore’s next social media star during last year’s SingTel Facebook casting call.

I attended the casual bloggers gathering at Shots cafe, and met up with Joanne-Marie Sim, the host of TGIS and the team behind TGIS.

A group of us took a photo with the TGIS host, Joanne-Marie Sim.

During the gathering, we got to watch the first episode of TGIS Season 2. It kicked off on the August 8 2012 with a National Day special episode. This episode featured popular Singaporeans artists like Hossan Leong, Tay Kewei, Ginette Chittick and Alvelyn Alko.

During this episode, they shared their views on what it means being a Singaporean and also their fields of work.  Upcoming episodes will include uncovering some of Singapore’s emerging technology and entertainment talents.

Thanks for sharing with us the bloopers during the filming jobs...

We had a small interactive with Miguel Bernas, SingTel’s Director of Digital Marketing and Joanne-Marie Sim, the host of TGIS.

TGIS features topics such as what Singaporeans are passionate about and with Season 2, Singtel continues to provide a fresher perspective for viewers on the gadgets, social media and latest technology and how they can enhance their everyday lives. Through SingTel’s YouTube page, they can give their comments to influence how the episodes will play out. TGIS fans will find the new episodes engaging, useful and highly entertaining.

The second episode of TGIS will go live on August 29, 2012. 'Like' SINGTEL Facebook for more updates on TGIS, alternately you can log on to YouTube page to view the upcoming episode and the previous episode or even the season 1 of TGIS
