Dinner at SAVEUR

After reading a lot of reviews about a restaurant called 'Saveur' on the net, I decided to bring Baby to go there for our weekend dinner. The restaurant is located at Purvis Street (pretty near to Bugis area)

Saveur offers quality yet affordable French Cuisine. They use local products at down-to-earth prices and brings a whole new gastronomic experience to everyone.

Baby had Soup du jour, Cream of Cauliflower at SGD5.90.

We shared the Duck Salad which was a salad consisting of Shredded duck meat tossed with home-made lemon vinaigrette, Quail Egg, Orange Segments and Cherry Tomatoes (SGD4.90)

I had the Saveur's Pasta which costs a paltry SGD4.90. It is a signature dish of Saveur's Angel Hair pasta which is tossed with chilli oil and Minced Pork Sauce and topped with fine-chopped Japanese Konbu and Sakura Ebi.

Baby's main dish was a Pan-seared Sea Bass, with a side of Saute Potato and Crabmeat and garnished with French Beans and caper vinaigrette (SGD14.90)

Baby and I were pretty sure that the owners of Saveur are Christians, from the way the restaurant was being set up. The damage was SGD 37-ish, and lastly, we thank the lord for this lovely meal.

Glad to meet you at Spice Brasserie! Before Saveur, I used to go Black Sheep Cafe for their duck confit but Saveur is much cheaper (: their potato gratin was not bad too.
Hiya Xin Li,thanks for dropping by my humble blog. I will try the the potato gratin soon, xie xie ni, for the recommendation.
