[media invite] Tasting at Andersen's of Denmark

Chewy, Meryl and I attending a tasting event at Andersen's of Denmark's flagship branch, which is located at Jewel Changi. They have launched new menu items - including a 100ml Dandy cup and a Korean special Bingsu with a Danish fusion.

Andersen’s of Denmark is known for its delectable ice cream flavors, fluffy Danish waffles, and their famous ice cream cakes.

If you are looking for authentic Danish ice cream, Andersen’s of Denmark is the one! They use only the finest natural ingredients imported from around the world, and their ice cream is made based on an original Danish recipe.

We started with some cookies and drinks of our choice.

Bloggers at work!

The waffles can be customized with a variety of toppings such as fruits like bananas and berries, confectionaries like chocolate rice, marshmallows, and rainbow sprinkles and a variety of sauces. All of these are topped off with 2 scoops of premium Andersen’s ice cream in your preferred flavors.

I love this freshly baked waffle which was prepared daily on the premises with many fresh fruits, and the portion size was generously huge, and it tasted perfectly too!

The Belgian Waffle is made using Andersen’s tried and tested recipe with authentic Belgian ingredients.

I love the waffle, as it is crispy-on-the-outside and fluffy-and-soft-on-the-inside!

As mentioned, Andersen's of Denmark introduced an all-new menu item - Danish inspired Bingsu! It is a fusion concept that uses premium Danish ice cream flavors which are added to the traditional Korean dessert made from fine ice shavings which are then mounted with a variety of toppings. Bingsu is made with the freshest fruits and boiled red bean ice to give you a melt in the mouth texture. Andersen’s offers four delectable Bingsu flavors including mango blondie, creamy cookies, strawberry tickles, and triple chocolate fantasy.

Andersen’s creates gourmet ice creams by sourcing premium ingredients from all over the world including milk from Australia, premium chocolate from Belgium and signature flavors from Denmark. They create pure ice cream using the best of ingredients.

The portable Dandy Cup allows customers to enjoy single person servings on the go!

Everyone knows that Andersen’s is known for their signature ice cream cakes. The Christmas Log Cake is their bestselling festive favorite. Do remember to check them out!

Thanks for the tasting invite and for allowing us to bag home a dandy cup of ice-cream flavor of our own choice!

This year, Andersen’s kept their Danish traditions alive by hosting monthly workshops for children on the third Sunday of each month to cultivate good reading habits in children.

The workshops are based on Danish author Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales, which are hosted at Andersen's flagship branch at Jewel. The workshop consists of a storytelling session and a craft workshop!

I brought my cute niece, KaeGirl to the storytelling session together with Meryl, Chewy and Rena.

We received a free scoop of ice-cream and some bookstore vouchers.

KaeGirl enjoyed herself in the storytelling and Baby Shark dance session. Kudos to Andersen’s of Denmark for making our Sunday morning a lovely one!
