[Happy Birthday, Baby] Ng Ah Sio Bak Kut Teh + KOMA Singapore

The 20-metre corridor into KOMA Restaurant has a replica Torii-Gate which kept reminding me about a previous visit to the Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto! With Japan's borders opening again without restrictions, I'm certain I will head to Japan again soon!

I made a dinner reservation to celebrate Baby’s birthday at KOMA Singapore which is located at the Marina Bay Sands. This eatery place is always full, and we finally managed to secure a spot at the restaurant. We didn't mind that it was a counter seat! The attire at KOMA is semi-casual, so do note that no slippers are allowed!

We started off with the Beef Gyoza, and it tasted awesome! We also ordered the the Assorted Tempura, as they were our all-time favorite!

The Grilled Eggplant was perfectly grilled and it tasted pretty good, and the California Sushi Rolls were delicious too!

We shared the Spicy Tofu Pot and Truffle Fried Rice. We enjoyed them very much!

For dessert, we ended our meal with a yummy Japanese Cheesecake. It was excellent. I liked the raspberry sorbet as well as the fresh slices of strawberries which went really well with the salty cheese! KOMA was sweet enough to take note that Baby was having his birthday celebration, and his dessert had a written 'Happy Birthday' in chocolate as well! I loved the service that was rendered to us, and the serving staff were very friendly and approachable.

Happy Birthday to my dearest Baby! Ich Liebe Dich! I love you for your thoughtfulness, your understanding ways and the countless little things that you do for me each day. I thank the lord that I've got you!

On a random weekday, we went to Ng Ah Sio Bak Kut Teh which is located at Rangoon Road. Our table was filled with food - We had 2 bowls of Premium Spare Ribs, 1 bowl of rice, 1 bowl of Mee-Sua, a bowl of preserved vegetables, Fried You Tiao and Lava Eggs We also added a Braised Tau Pok.

Being a Jumbo Member, Baby was given a SGD20 voucher to offset the total bill on his birthday month. We only paid SGD23 for our dinner, so thanks Jumbo for the member's perks!
