Mid-Autumn Festival 2024 + Annyeong Korea: Uncover South Korea with PriceBreaker
This year's Mid-Autumn Festival, or more commonly known as the 'Mooncake Festival', fell on a Tuesday. As usual, the company that I work for, being Korean, closed office early for a half day to celebrate Chuseok (Korean's Thanksgiving Day!)
My company gifted each staff a box of Chocolate Mooncakes from Janice Wong as a token of celebration. Each artisan chocolate Mooncake was well-crafted and tasted good.
The day before Mid-Autumn Festival, I met up with my clique at Suntec for dinner, which was then followed by a trip to the Gardens by the Bay - A Magical Lantern Experience.
One of the
highlights of the Mid-Autumn Festival at Gardens by the Bay is the breathtaking
lantern displays.
Inspired by Singapore's heritage shophouses, we loved the childhood nostalgia ambience which surrounded the garden.
An iconic 'Dragon Playground' design displayed at Supertree Grove.
We had a great time at the stunning Flower Carpet set against the iconic Supertrees, which featured the beloved Singaporean dragon playground and the national flower, ‘Papilionanthe Miss Joaquim’.
What a
masterpiece! We were so happy that we managed to make it for the exhibition
before it ended!
Chewy
prepared Durian Mooncakes for us to enjoy in the park! Thanks for making time
to make this gathering a good one!

Baby and I attended the Annyeong Korea: Uncover South Korea with PriceBreaker which was held at the Korea Tourism Organization (Korea Plaza).
We were introduced to some delicious refreshments from Korea, and participated in some Hands-on activities.
We won a 24HR Visit Busan Pass through Q&A and a box of Premium Bean Jelly Set from Gyeongnam.
We walked home with a goodies bag filled with merchandises from the Korea Tourism Organization and Korean Air!
