[food Review] Biryani Concepts + Wok Master

Fancy having a sumptuous fish head curry? Head on down to Biryani Concepts, which is located at Siglap for some tremendous Indian cuisine, especially for the Fish Head Curry!

The fish meat was fresh and the portions were sufficient for two while the curry was aromatic and tangy, just the way I like it! The Hyderabad Chicken Dhum Biryani had fluffy rice and tasted delicious, while the Garlic Naan was crispy and not too oily. Even the Masala Tea was refreshing and not overly sweet.

I highly recommend this eatery if you’re in the area and are keen for some Indian food!

Wok Master serves up an array of claypot and wok-fried dishes in the comfort of a casual restaurant setting. The eatery is situated on the second level of City Square Mall, which is conveniently connected to Farrer Park MRT Station.

The dinner crowd was pretty healthy when we visited. Together with Tracy, we had a pleasurable dinner!

The 3-Cup Chicken - the brown gravy went very well with a bowl of white rice, and it was definitely worth the order!

The Royal Three Eggs Spinach - Spinach with three types of eggs – salted egg, century egg and egg whites in a light herbal sauce. It tasted awesome, and I liked the thick eggy gravy very much.

The Sweet and Sour Pork with Lychee - It tasted fabulous, and each piece of pork gave me a nice homely feel.

Do give Wok Master a try for your next gathering or celebration, as the prices are pretty reasonably-priced so a meal here isn’t going to burn a hole in your pocket. Most importantly, it offers comforting home-cooked style fare!
