Hallyu Night with Singtel at Barber Shop Timbre

Recently, I attended the event 'Hallyu Night with Singtel' which was at the Barber Shop Timbre, and it was a night of fun and laughter.

 
Lately, many people are undergoing the process of 'Hallyu', which consists of watching K Dramas, listening to KPop Music, using K beauty/health products, and consuming K Cuisine and snacks!

 
During the event, I was introduced to a brand new way to enjoy our favorite entertainment on-the-go with the launch of Cast, Singapore's first OTT video Portal app. This new app offers thousands of hours of exciting movies, dramas, variety shows and kids' entertainment, which is delivered on Singtel's extensive 4G network!

 
Singtel Mobile post-paid customers can choose from Kids, Asian Hits or Hallyu Content Packs. Subscriptions can be paid conveniently through their monthly Singtel bill. Alternatively, there is a charge of SGD6.90/month for customers who are without a contract.
 
 
To enjoy the latest Korean and Japanese entertainment, customers can also sign up for Viu's Premium Services. With Cast, everyone can enjoy the entertainment at a flexible way at anywhere and anytime. It also gives us a greater choice of the best entertainment experience!
 
 
Viu Premium Service offers the widest selection of latest Korean dramas and variety shows, as well as the latest Japanese dramas. Viu Premium subscribers have priority viewing of the dramas that include English and Chinese subtitles, and will be aired within 8 hours after the original telecast.
 
Hallyu Pack contains the best Korean entertainment from top Korean broadcasters on popular channels such as ONE, Oh!K and KBS World as well as all-time favourite variety shows such as Running Man, Infinite Challenge and Return of Superman.
 
 
For me, I personally would choose Viu Premium over the Hallyu Pack, since I prefer K-dramas, but if your preference is on Korean variety shows, then the Hallyu Pack might benefit you more.
 
 
Asian Hits Pack features popular hit movies, variety shows and dramas series from Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and China on their original language.

 
As for the Kids Pack features Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. channels, and parents can consider this pack for their kids as they would be entertained with their favorite shows that range from Dora the Explorer, SpongeBob SquarePants and PAW Patrol!
 
 
Kelly Poon was there at the event performed LIVE on stage. She sang 2 songs, and the first song was 'Always' - Descendants of the Sun OST (Korean version) and a Chinese song, '爱无力'.
