[Gardens by the Bay] Christmas Wonderland 2019

Singapore’s most anticipated year-end festive event, 'Christmas Wonderland' is welcoming visitors from now till the 26th of December!

I was invited to attend the opening night of the official launch of Christmas Wonderland at the Gardens by the Bay.

Guest-of-honour Mr Chee Hong Tat, Senior Minister of State, Minister of Trade and Industry, and Ministry of Education alongside representatives Ms Jean Ng from Singapore Tourism Board, Ms Sarah Martin from Blue Sky Events, Mr Yap Chin Siang and Mr Felix Loh from Gardens by the Bay were there to officiate the light-up of the 21-metre Spalliera at the Supertree Grove, the largest of the Luminarie light sculptures.

This year's Christmas Wonderland has brought back last year's favourites, such as the Garden Rhapsody Christmas Light & Sound Show. This can be found at the Supertree Grove! I loved watching the Supertrees come to life with multi-coloured illuminations that light up in sync in conjunction with a specially curated soundtrack of the usual favorite Christmas songs!

One of the all-time favorite highlights at Christmas Wonderland is the crowd-favorite Blizzard Time, which topped off a magical Christmas wonderland experience for the visitors.

Another highlight not to be missed is the inaugural Christmas Parade. Do wave to Santa Claus and his friends as they spread festive cheer throughout the parade. Visitors can also look forward to free choral performances and Yuletide Sessions.

Do not miss the 50-metre long light installation ‘Walk of Peace’, which is inspired by the glow of sunset at the gardens. This installation offers visitors an immersive experience.

For even more excitement, there are 18 traditional carnival games and rides at the fairground!

Shop to your hearts’ content for unique Christmas gifts and savour an array of festive bites at the Festive Market. During the launch opening day, Brewerkz offered complimentary tasting portion on their Special Christmas Brew - Mistletoe Kiss White Beer. We loved it!

Do pop by the brand new Christmas Tree Cafe which features Burger & Lobster, Sinfonia and Dessert Wonderland.

For a truly enchanting Christmas experience, it doesn't get better than to have a Meet and Greet session with Santa Claus! He can be found at the 'North Pole at Santa's Workshop', which is situated right in the heart of the village.

I took a photo of myself inside the snow-filled giant snow globe.

Upon reaching Santa’s Workshop, there were many elves wrapping presents and fulfilling wishes. The visit to Santa’s Workshop was fulfilled after meeting Mr Santa Claus for a perfect picture!

Thanks for having us at the event, and we had an enjoyable time at the Christmas Wonderland, especially at Santa’s Workshop! So gather your friends and family to celebrate this forth-coming Christmas at Gardens by the Bay.

Admission to Christmas Wonderland 2019 starts from SGD6. Visitors can purchase their tickets online at www.christmaswonderland.sg or onsite at the ticketing booths. Alternatively, you can also get the tickets from official ticketing partner KLOOK at www.klook.com
