[random] Foods Taste Test by CNA Green Plan + Dinner at Super Thai Singapore by Soi Aroy

I was selected for the MSIG CNY ECO HONG BAO Giveaway 2022, and I received these red packets that were designed with sustainability in mind, and only selected FSC paper was used. They have conscientiously omitted plastic lamination and the use of plastic packaging to reduce wastage.

I love the prints on the red packets, and kudos to MSIG’s efforts in contributing to the protection of biodiversity!

I attended one of the activities organized by the CNA Green Plan. The event was the ‘Resilient Future – Foods Taste Test’ in Katong.

It was held at the Crane @ Joo Chiat, and the programme outline was that we got to sample a variety of delicious bite-sized snacks! All we need to do was to identify which country the star ingredient came from for each of the canapes that were served.

It was a fun-loving event, and I was really surprised and impressed at the same time that all the key ingredients of these delicious bite-sized snacks were locally produced in Singapore!

It was such a nice experience to attend such an event near my neighbourhood. I am looking forward for more of these get-to-know events in the near future.

It was nice to catch up with my office lunch mates during lunch as well as to see other WFH colleagues whom I've not met in a while, and were now back in the office! We gathered together at Le Fuse Café which is located at Arab Street for lunch. It is a halal eatery place which serves up delicious authentic halal Sichuan fusion. We ordered the Mala Fish and some other dishes such as Mala Duck, Veggies with Garlic and Fried Eggs with Tomatoes! The damage was SGD124 for 5 pax!

My running colleagues/mates have paused our weekly affair after we were assigned to WFH, and after a super long hiatus, we were glad that we resumed our evening run after work!

We went to IKEA on a random Monday morning after our brekkie. We took a day off from work after we took our booster over the weekend. We were surprised by the crowd even though it was a working day! After we were done with our purchases, we headed over to the café for our lunch.

Recently, I started to shop for clothing from online, and I picked up 2 loose knitted cardigans from Shopee. It cost only SGD5.60 each, and the colors respectively are Mustard and light beige. It goes well with most of my casual wears. I really love it! The green babydoll top is from The Stage Walk! It goes well with shorts and jeans!

Recently, I bought a flowery crop top from Fairebelle - online store, and it came with a complimentary matching mask. Yay! I will keep this top for this forthcoming CNY!

We love Thai food, and we miss our trips to Bangkok and Phuket very much. It is pretty easy to find Thai cuisine in Singapore, but the authentic and affordable ones are hard though. Recently, I got to know about this eatery place by chance and it's located at Upper Aljunied Road.

We visited the Super Thai Singapore by Soi Aroy which was a less than 10-minute-drive away from our residence. It is known for their yummy and authentic Thai food. I love their quality dishes at affordable prices. We had a delicious spread!

It is definitely a real hidden gem with really authentic Thai dishes! I love the King Prawn with Vermicelli in Claypot and Tom Yum Seafood Soup very much. Highly recommended!

I end my post with our Sunday lunch at Ma Maison which is located at Bugis Junction. This was a little treat for my Baby after withdrawal my earnings from Partipost. Thanks Baby for everything!
