Lovely dinner with loved ones - Jumbo Seafood Restaurant + Canton Paradise

We decided to have a crab feast for dinner at Jumbo Seafood Restaurant which is located at Dempsey Hill to end Baby’s birthday.

 


We started off with Seafood Pumpkin Soup and a plate of Mocha Pork Spare Ribs!




 
We also did not forget to have our 'MUST-ORDER' item -Steamed Bamboo Clam with Garlic, which was tremendously flavorful and tasted awesome


We specially ordered the signature Mee Goreng, as we Chinese believe eating noodles on your birthday signifies longevity!



Of course, the main dish was Jumbo's Signature Chilli Crab, and we ordered some fried mantou to go along with the delicious gravy. The damage was SGD160 after a reduction of SGD100 (Jumbo birthday voucher).



We had a delightful dinner night-out, and Jumbo Seafood is the perfect place for you if you have high expectations for freshness seafood!



Lastly, Alles Gute zum Geburtstag and Ich Liebe Dich! Shower my love for my Baby who makes me feel extra special in life!



Baby and I spent some quality time together after a hard day of work, and we went to Canton Paradise for dinner which is located at Bedok Mall. We love this eatery place as it serves quality dishes. We waited about 20-25 minutes to get our table without any advance reservation. As usual, we started off with Boat Style Congee, and we loved this Cantonese styled Congee very much.


We love the Fried XO Carrot Cake very much and this item has been listed under our MUST-ORDER item in any dim sum restaurant!


We both loved the Steamed Flounder in Hong Kong style and Fried Prawn on Salted Egg.



The damage was SGD65 after a reduction of SGD100 (Paradise birthday voucher).

[Nights with Netflix] Screening of Next Gen

Thanks Hpility , for extending your invite to me to attend the 'Nights with Netflix' event. This event was to check out Netflix's Singapore office, as well as to catch a special preview of an awesome screening! photo credits to hpility.sg   Netflix Singapore's office is located at Marina One West Tower , and it looked splendid! How I wish I could work in such a wonderful environment! The pantry looks just like an eatery place, and was well stocked with drinks, snacks and even cup noodles!   Nextflix won the global rights to stream the movie 'Next Gen' , and this newly animated movIe debuts on the 7th of September 2018 .  'Next Gen' is a family-friendly movie with pretty good computer animated visuals for a non-Disney/ Pixar/ DreamWorks production.     This film, 'Next Gen' was based on a short online comic from the Chinese Multimedia Company 'Baozou' .
