[media invite] Attended the RAS Epicurean Sar Award 2022

The RAS Epicurean Star Award is back after a long hiatus of 3 years due to the pandemic to give due recognition to the outstanding individuals and establishments from Singapore's F&B industry. Many of them faced many challenges during the pandemic such as rental, supply chain and manpower issues. 

The F&B industry was affected badly by COVID19 for the past 2+ years, and now with the easing of restrictions which has allowed for big events again, the Epicurean Star Award was held in the grand Fairmont Ballroom at Raffles City Convention Centre to celebrate the industry's efforts and achievements. 

This prestigious Star Award is organized by the Restaurant Association of Singapore (RAS) is a highly anticipated celebration to recognize innovative and exciting F&B concepts as well as the people behind them.

I was super honored to be invited to this event as a creator to be part of this glorious celebration! I met up some of my blogger friends at the event too, and there was no better time have a great catch-up session with one another! 

The drumming performance kickstarted the event, and was followed by a welcome address by Mr Andrew Kwan, the President of RAS and an opening address by Guest-of-Honour Dr Tan See Leng, Minister for Manpower & Second Minister for Trade and Industry.

The Workforce Resilience Award was given to the companies listed below! 

There was a total of 20 awards that were presented at this event, and the winners were selected by a panel of judges from more than 100 nominations. I was very excited to discover which restaurant/café would be the winner as I was making a list of the best restaurants/cafes that are worth checking out for my future dining venues.

I hereby congratulated all winners of the Epicurean Star Award 2022! I have made a list of award-winning restaurants for reference, and I can't wait to check them out with my family, friends and loved ones!

Our gala dinner was a splendid 8-course meal, akin to a Chinese wedding dinner. While having our dinner, we were also treated to some ‘LIVE’ music by a talented vocalist.
