[Valentine's Day Celebration] Omakase Dinner at Akira Back

As we grow older, we find that Valentine’s Day is not only about showing your affection or love to your loved ones, but is also for spending quality time with your loved ones and renewing your commitment, responsibility and the efforts you put into this relationship or marriage..


Baby made a reservation for us to a posh restaurant to celebrate our Valentine’s Day at Akira Back which is located at JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach. We had a wonderful Omakase experience.



Apart from the Omakase dinner set, we also ordered their signature Tuna Pizza, and I loved the very crispy crust which was topped with thinly sliced tuna, and flavoured with truffle oil. It was an addictive pizza, and it’s impossible to stop at one slice.






















The damage was pretty hefty for the portion, oh well I think the quality of the food made up for it! Thanks Baby for being a pillar whenever I’m in need of support or facing setbacks.


I look forward to having more celebrations together in the coming years. I really appreciate Baby making plans in 2023/2024 to celebrate all the events in our life, such as my birthday, our anniversary, Valentine's and even Christmas! I love being with him as he has always placed me as a top priority, put up with my bad temper, and has always taken care of my well-being. I love you Baby-Hubby! Muaks

 Thanks Claressa for asking me along to join her for the preview screening of Planes at GV VivoCity.   --- Posters of Planes ---         I was thinking to myself during the show, has PIXAR run out of ideas to make a movie? This movie has all the hallmarks of a standard PIXAR movie, such as Cars/Wall-E/Toy Story, with the looks and graphics being the same.     The movie, Planes is a carbon copy of 'Cars' with both the films logo being similar. [Nights with Netflix] Screening of Next Gen

Thanks Hpility , for extending your invite to me to attend the 'Nights with Netflix' event. This event was to check out Netflix's Singapore office, as well as to catch a special preview of an awesome screening! photo credits to hpility.sg   Netflix Singapore's office is located at Marina One West Tower , and it looked splendid! How I wish I could work in such a wonderful environment! The pantry looks just like an eatery place, and was well stocked with drinks, snacks and even cup noodles!   Nextflix won the global rights to stream the movie 'Next Gen' , and this newly animated movIe debuts on the 7th of September 2018 .  'Next Gen' is a family-friendly movie with pretty good computer animated visuals for a non-Disney/ Pixar/ DreamWorks production.     This film, 'Next Gen' was based on a short online comic from the Chinese Multimedia Company 'Baozou' .
