Product Launch: Panasonic Mobile Backup Charger

Image
I was invited to Panasonic Asia: Go The Distance Blogger Event , which was held at K-Suites - Orchard Parade Hotel. FLY Entertainment Artist, Shu An was the host for the event. Upon registering, all bloggers were divided into a few color groups randomly by the event planner. There were two game segments during the event, and they were pictionary (the word explains it well). It was quite an interactive games as we got to know other fellow bloggers there. As for the second game, creativeness is required. We were given our challenge (obstacle) as planned by the event planner. A short video clip was played for us and we need to pay attention and watch 5 video teasers and then picked any one of them and complete it with a creative and quirky ending. This was kinda brain-storming for me, in the end after a hard time of pondering, I chose 'T he Cubicle'. To view the 5 teasers, please click HERE We were there to mark the birth of their latest innovation, Mobile Backup Charger f...

Opening of The Spa Artisan at Fullerton Hotel Singapore

Image
Asmara is a spa management company that began in 1999 at the Nirwana Beach Resort, Bintan Island Indonesia. In 2006, it entered the Singapore market with Aramsa ~ The Garden Spa in Bishan Park 2. In 2012, Asmara launched its very first spa in the city district with The Spa Artisan at the iconic Fullerton Hotel Singapore. I was invited to attend the opening of The Spa Artisan at the historic Fullerton Hotel. The sparkling night was held at the Straits Room which located at the level 4. There was a line up of programmes for all invitees. Programmes ranged from getting a quick Hairstyling from Salon de Florere, to taking photos for keep-sake mementos props at the photo booth, or try out the SkinCeuticals  Anti-Aging products. Lastly the Spa Tour offered a tour to see the facilities and service the spa has to  offer. I enjoyed my hand massage at the spa, and it was lovely! After touring the spa which was located ...

Weekend brunch at The Rail Mall

Image
Epicurious Cafe voted Best Breakfast in Singapore by Time Out Singapore , and they have always been well known for their weekend brunch. Sweet Salty Spicy (SSS) is a Thai eatery that offers a wide variety of Thai delights in a casual dining area.   Both eatery places are located at The Rail Mall and they operate under the same management and a joint space. D iners get the benefit to mix and match their food orders ( Thai and Western)   served by Sweet Salty Spicy and Cafe Epicurious respectively. We were free to sit at either restaurant and order our food. There are no walls separating the two restaurants, but however the bar-counter acts as a partition for them. Jess Baby without make-up and false eye-lashes... Argh! I look plain and cui :( The eatery place is pretty small, a view of the entire restaurant at one glance. The walls are painted in red and adnorned with photo frames and mirrors. The interior is simple yet...

Food Tasting/Food Review: Canto Kitchen

Image
Canto Kitchen started up in 2009, which was first lead by a Cantonese chef who brought in a lot of delectable Cantonese dishes into the menu. Lately, a Malaysian chef took over and added in his own specialties like Curry Fish Head to compliment the old menu. Canto Kitchen is known for its reasonable and affordable prices for its extensive menu, and uses only the freshest and finest ingredients when preparing the food. With the combination of both chefs. Canto Kitchen offers a wide variety of dishes to satisfy the cravings of food savvy customers. Upon entering the restaurant, the brightly lit atmosphere and the traditional metal framed red chairs reminded me of the restaurants I visited in Hong Kong. The setting was pretty much like Hong Kong style with vintage chairs and a TV on the wall... I was invited for a 9-course dinner food tasting with a large group of bloggers... We were lead to the VIP room by the person-in-charge, Mr Sherbert Lim . Thanks so much for your kin...
