Press Screening of Ghost on Air
Monday Blues were far away for me again, I went for the Press Screening of 'Ghost on Air' with a group of friends...
~ Posters of Ghost on Air ~
This film is about a Radio DJ driven to desperation, who resorts to telling ghost stories on air, without knowing that they are all real....
Ping Xiao (starring Dennis Chew), is a two-time 'Most Popular DJ' award winner, who is suddenly robbed of his successful morning show slot. He becomes jealous upon seeing a younger DJ named Pauline (played by Eunice Olsen) who is taking over his place, and he forces himself to conquer painful recurring memories of his deceased girlfriend (starring Gan Mei Yan) and tells the ghost stories that were written by her on air. With each painful memory he endures, he regains a small step to his fame. Soon, he begins to realize that the stories were not fiction, and perhaps eerily it wasn’t him telling the stories all this while...

Some scenes were starring our local veteran actress, Choo Xiu Feng provided plenty of suspense and the scary components were well set-up. A point to note, I finally can see Dennis Chew acting as himself instead of impersonating as a female for his famous role of Auntie Lucy...
3/5
The poster gives the audience that this movie is eerie and full of scary scenes, it does indeed... 100% suspense moments every now and then throughout the whole show... The sound effects made me shiver down my spine. The movie only ran for 78mins and this is the only flaw about this movie, as the whole show is fast-paced, where some parts / scenes aren't explained well enough...
I had the pleasure of watching the preview screening all thanks to Shaw Organisation, OMY.sg and Merelion Pictures. The premiere date is on the 17 May 2012
