Vacation: Nightlife in Hong Kong + loots/hauls

Hello, Hong Kong!!

During my trip to Hong Kong, I was staying at the Holiday Inn Express Hong Kong Soho which is just a short distant walk to Sheung Wan MTR station, Island Line.

So travelling around the Island Line (blue line) like Admiralty, Causeway Bay or even Central was pretty convenient for us as those stations are along the Island Line...

Weather at night in Hong Kong was chilling (Temp: +17C-ish), therefore bringing a light jacket, cardigan or even shawl was essential while heading out at night.

Do you know that the rental in the shopping areas of Causeway Bay is ranked as the highest in the world? This is the place where fashion comes alive as Causeway Bay is one of Hong Kong's prime shopping destinations!!

The nearest MTR station to Lan Kwai Fong is Central, but however a fairly short distance of walking is required. Therefore we took the stop down to Central from Sheung Wan, as we were heading for some drinks and be part of the party moods in Lan Kwai Fong.

Lan Kwai Fong is a well-known party location in Hong Kong with loads of nightclubs and bars. Back then before the Second World War, it used to be a hawkers place but now it is the most popular place for drinking and dining among the tourists and locals.

It was really very crowded in Lan Kwai Fong on the Saturday night, where mainly customers are the Caucasian (Ang Moh). We went for some drinks at Taj Bar & Restaurant, Indian Lounge as most of the pubs/clubs were running full-house that day...

We went to Soho District too. It is an entertainment zone located in Central and bordering Sheung Wan which is fairly near (15-20mins by foot) to the hotel which I was staying during my trip. It is also one of the prime places for dining too...

Temple Street is a night market which is located between Jordan and Yau Ma Tei MTR station. It is a popular bazaar among the tourist and the locals and is truly a place of wonder and charm. The things are pretty much cheaper than in Ladies Market.

Ladies'  Market is situated in the street of Tung Choi (Mong Kok MTR Station) and it is crowded with shops selling bargain souvenirs, clothing, cosmetics, bags, and etc. They are selling mostly are essential items for the ladies...

More loots from Hong Kong... **I love shopping**

Andrew Brownsword (Friends Forever Teddy Bear) coin purse / Lip balm from Shiseido

Rilakkuma Eye Mask / Hand-cream Galore

Rinse-off Hair Treatment from Opal / Vidal Sassoon Hair Treatment Mist (leave on)

Snacks galore from the local supermarket

I was so happy with myself that I managed to enjoy so much yummy food during this trip to HKG/SZX and my shopping desire was somewhat fulfilled... Hahaha!! I will do more sight-seeing in my next trip (if time permits hahaha!!) Overall, it was a fruitful trip that makes a good start of 2013.
