[product review] Logitech X100 + Logitech X300
Mobile phones are widely used across the globe, and they have become part of our daily lives. Nowadays, due to advanced technology, music works in many ways to help us to de-stress our hectic working lifestyle. This even applies to students nowadays, with their large amount of school work and projects/deadline to meet! Therefore, portable Bluetooth speakers are very popular in the market, and they come in all shapes and sizes.
Logitech X100 is portable and pocket-friendly. The controls and ports are lined around the edge of the device. The main buttons are volume up, volume down, bluetooth pairing and power on/off. There is also a 3.5mm input for aux connections and USB port for charging purpose.
The shape is pretty cute and
compact as this circular device fits nicely on my palm. There is an array of
color selections to choose from.
The device will last for up to 5 hours in a single charge. Actually, there is a built-in microphone as well in order to make phone-calls, but I noticed muffled hearing upon using it. The Bluetooth pairing gets significantly weaker when distance is about a room away.
The Logitech X100 is power-packed with decent audio performance, and it is recommended to those who are seeking for a small, portable and budget Bluetooth speaker.
Logitech recently introduced the X300 Mobile Wireless Speaker. This inexpensive Mobile Bluetooth Speaker has everything, one is one the reasons Logitech decided to discontinue their UE Mini Boom series from Ultimate Ears which was retailing at a higher as compared to the Logitech X300.
Although, the Logitech X300 doesn't have a sleek-looking frame as compared to the UE Mini Boom, I still think it does a good job by reducing the retail price while maintaining the audio quality. The only down-side is the battery life which was a great disappointment, as I expected the extension of the battery performance to be improved.
The bonus of Logitech X300 is that it delivers good audio for less money. The clear sound produced is almost on par as UE Boom from Ultimate Ears, which impressed me in all ways except for its expensive retail price.
Logitech X300 is an excellent choice if you are on budget yet looking for an above average audio performance Bluetooth speaker. I personally feel that it is too good to pass up the purchase!
